My New Favorite headphones/headset
Let me start with cons, which their aren’t many, actually for me it’s just one con which I’ved gotten used to and i don’t even realize it anymore, that is the ear cushions are a bit shallow and your ears will touch the driver most likely, also the texture/material of the cushion isn’t the softest to the touch, these aren’t deal breaker though, it’s nothing annoying, I’ve gotten use to it but I felt I just needed to find some kind of con anyways I’ve watched a lot of headset/headphones reviews that says “these are the most comfy headphones every” and as soon as I buy and try them, they aren’t really, but I’ve finally landed on a pair of headphones that doesn’t fatigue my ears, squeeze my brains out or just feels too heavy on the head, the Shp9500 are the most comfy headphones/headsets I’ve every owned and I have over 10 headphones and headsets (yes even with the cons I mentioned above, so imagine if I should swap these cushions for bigger and softer material ones, perfect),the Shp9500 are my main for both gaming and music, the reasons why these are so comfy are it’s very light weight and the ear cuffs are super large and covers the ears completely well unless you have a pair of wheels for ears. So for sound, I’m no audiophile professional but I use these mostly for gaming and just to speak in gamer language, they’re great, high, lows and mids are separate, nothings over drowning the other, no muds here, clear audio great positional audio, great for campaign open world games and great for shooters, for music it sounds very balance, instruments are easy to hear, vocals are clear, I heard a lot of complain about base, unless you’re expecting club sound box base, the base are present in the headset and you won’t have an issue, we need to remember the price is just around 70 bucks, you can’t possibly looking the perfect headset at these price range, but for the price I’d rate this headset 10/10 easily, find me a better all rounded headphone/headset below 100 bucks, I’ll wait, could easily be sold for like 150 or even 200 dollars.

I actually like the microphone
I'm not going to write a full review I'll just make a few comments that I think are important1) I heard that the bass on these headphones are low or rolled off and that is not true. The bass on these headphones hits hard. Real hard. This is going to sound kind of silly but the bass on these headphones hit harder than my V-Moda M100s. Especially after a little EQ2) Speaking of EQ... The treble on these out of the box is wonderful but could easily be seen as a little harsh. I've been playing with EQ to ge tthese closer to the harman target. Here's my settings from Equalizer APO. I took these settings mostly from Oratory 1990 but I added a 7750khz boost.Preamp: -5 dBFilter: ON LS Fc 105 Hz Gain 5.5 dBFilter: ON PK Fc 95 Hz Gain -1.5 dB Q 1Filter: ON PK Fc 200 Hz Gain -1.5 dB Q 1.4Filter: ON PK Fc 1250 Hz Gain -2.2 dB Q 1.4Filter: ON PK Fc 2300 Hz Gain 4 dB Q 1.4Filter: ON PK Fc 3000 Hz Gain -1.9 dB Q 4Filter: ON PK Fc 4800 Hz Gain -3.4 dB Q 3Filter: ON PK Fc 6200 Hz Gain -6.5 dB Q 2.7Filter: ON PK Fc 7750 Hz Gain 4 dB Q 2.1253) The microphone with these things is nice. I recorded some demo sounds with my computer's microphone and then this microphone and this microphone sounds way better than my computer's microphone (no surprise there). We'll see if it lasts but right now I like it a lot and I'll be using it on conference calls4) I bought them used for $55. I think they are just an open box return because they look brand new.

The headphones are good, the microphone is not
The headphones are a good option for anyone looking for better sound on a budget. The sound stage is good, and the detail is there. The microphone picks up the sound played on the headphones, even on low. I am assuming the cables are poorly insulated. Replaced it pretty quick.

Great Idea; but Half-Baked Mike Implementation
I struggled to fairly rate this product. If I were to rate the headphones alone, I'd definitely be at least 4 Stars, if not a 5! They are comfortable; have very good sound quality, although of course you can get audiophile sound if you want at 2½ the price. But, this review is regarding this specific product -- the Philips headphones and the Neego Microphone combination. That's why the rating is lower.People should know this is not an integrated product; the Microphone is a bundled item. The headphones come with a long, 3.5mm male-to-male cable, I didn't measure the length, but I'd guess about 10-feet in length. The headphone cable has stereo connectors on either end. When you get the Neego microphone, it substitutes this cable instead of the headphone cable. So, this cable is a cable with a small boom mike on the end that plugs into the female jack at the base of one of the headphones earcup.Unlike the headphone cable, this microphone cable has a mute switch for the microphone; and a volume thumbwheel to control the volume -- and helpfully, it works to control the headphone volume, which the regular headphone cable does not provide. This is a nice convenience! The problem with this mike cable it that it ends in a four-pole 3.5MM male jack. The mike, with that cable, will only work on devices that combine the mike/headphone connection into one connector, as is done on some laptop computers. In order to use this as a headphone-microphone combination for devices that implement a separate headphone and microphone connection, i.e. desktop computers or some other laptops, you need to get the proper Y-adapter to split the signal from the single cable that runs from the headphone. I had excellent success with the four-pole female to two male 3.5mm connector made by Vioy:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LBJT48T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1In my opinion, a splitter like this should be included with the headphone-microphone combination to make it universally useful on any computer; as many do not combine the microphone and headphone into a single jack.UPDATE: lowered the rating to 2-stars because the headphones failed after ten months. Very low sound output and verified on a separate computer.

Awesome but
The original cable came damaged/non-working, good thing this deal comes with another cable, right?

Great sound
Great sound and noise canceling. They seem to be made of quality material. I'll see in the future
