Pretty Good For a Wrist Version
I have to track my BP several times a day and use a good arm cuff version, but wanted something smaller and easier to use. This monitor is actually pretty accurate compared to my arm cuff version and also compared readings to doctors office and this one is very close. Easy to read. Easy to use.

Possibly wrong item received, but it works
I ordered the HealthSmart Elite Wrist Cuff BP monitor. But I think I may have received the Premium version. It is confusing though. The box says 'Premium series' and the manual in the box says 'Premium Series' also. Yet looking at the pictures it does look like the Elite version. The Premium version is white and the Elite version is black according to the image on Amazon. The Elite version costs $66.99 and the Premium version costs $24.99. But it's confusing which one I really have. I contacted Amazon and they said it cannot be returned. But they did issue me a refund and said to just keep it.I do like it though. It took a bit of time to get it set up. But it work really well and I like the display. It is easy to read. It seems accurate enough very close to the readings I am getting with my arm cuff.

Easy to use, accurate, and repeatable
Once you reach middle age it's a good idea to start watching you blood pressure, as it's a reliable predictor of developing problems. An accurate automated blood pressure monitor makes checking your BP easy, and this one is about as easy as I've found.I didn't even bother with the instructions. I just pulled the cuff over my left arm (LEFT ARM is printed right on the cuff), lined up the pulse sensor with my artery- there's a diagram on the cuff showing there this is- plugged the cuff into the monitor, and hit the start button. A minute later I had my reading. I did it again to double check, and got the same pulse and BP readings within a few mm of the first reading. If you've had your blood pressure taken at a doctor's office (who hasn't?) it'll all be very obvious. This monitor can also save and compare successive readings, which might be handy for someone on BP medication who needs to carefully monitor their pressure. The slim manual explains it all very clearly. Everything packs up in a zippered bag so it's easy to keep all the bits together. Construction is on the lightweight side, so it's not going to be as rugged as the units you see in medical offices, but then it's not intended to be used 50 times a day, either. With reasonable care it should last. I would recommend not using the supplied off-brand Alkaline AA cells, though, as I've had too much experience with cheap cells leaking and ruining electronics devices. Put in a set of Eveready or Duracell AAs and you'll be okay.

Handy and accurate talking wrist blood pressure monitor
This purchase is not the ordinary. I purchased this for my out of town friends who are both blind and almost 90% deaf. Unfortunately, there is no one who can help with reading the blood pressure results. When I sent them this wrist blood pressure I suggested, after the reading was completed, to hold the speaker close to the hearing aid. This worked when the room is very quiet. They said this wrist model is always accurate according to his doctor’s blood pressure machine. Also it is very portable!Arm monitors are typically more accurate. I will be looking for an upper arm monitor with an excellent speaker and volume control going to a clear extra loud. For now, this is very useful and good. I am guessing I purchased a close out on this exact model. I haven’t checked though.

DO NOT BUY THIS BP MONITOR. MFC/Seller doesn't accept returns. Amazon will force Tech Support
Purchased 2ea of these monitors because my mother is having health issues and wanted to confirm the accuracy of these units. I'm a certified EMT and was comparing these automatic units to my manual sphygmomanometer (BP Cuff) to verify accuracy. Both units consistently would error out but had nothing in the manual or on the device to explain why the unit would not read. In only about 20-25% of the time would it even go through process of inflating and taking a reading and this is only after removing batteries, replacing batteries, powering off and back on, repositioning the cuff, repositioning your arm/wrist, etc... Purchased an Omron cuff for ~$10 more and ZERO ISSUES. It doesn't speak but it ACTUALLY WORKS and is accurate within a few mmhg on the reading CONSISTENTLY!Tried to go through normal Amazon returns process when I was forced to go through Amazon Technical Support. They called me and then tried to insist on me speaking to manufacturer. Explained I was not going to speak to manufacturer, I went through the troubleshooting in the manual and nothing in the manual explained the error or lack there of and both devices had the same issue. Amazon finally gave in and advised, the item is NOT RETURNABLE but they would credit my account that I could dispose of the items, donate or whatever.MISERABLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PRODUCT!

Take the average of 3 or 4 readings
Not as crazy about this as I hoped to be. There are times it seems to give me a good reading and other times I end up taking it 3 or 4 times and averaging. If you need a pressure monitor that is very accurate, this is probably not the one for you. It travels very well, case is small and well made, and fits in a drawer or purse easily. It is very easy to use and is also easy to read. I wish I felt like it was consistently accurate, but I took my BP 4 times, one right after the other, and got 4 different readings. They were close, but nothing had changed between readings and should have had several duplicates in there. If you have to know your numbers - maybe try a different one. If you just need to know you are in range - this is great.

it's pretty close and good enough for record keeping
I know it's not totally accurate (as we compared to the doctors office) but it's important to be sure you set it up properly too...it's pretty close and good enough for record keeping.

Don't buy this unit!
It is totally inaccurate. It repeatedly showed a blood pressure of over 210 - 230 when in fact it was 130 as shown on my pro unit. Awful! And no return allowed!
