This is not a polished product for patrol work. It is difficult to manipulate and difficult to tell if it is working or not, especially in daylight. the battery is suspect as well. Couldn't get it to stay on after a short recording (which it records in small clips...) Today I unplugged it while it was showing a full charge and wore it for two hours, never turned it on. When I pluged it back in it started taking a charge. No bueno. 20 minutes later its still charging... after not being used.This might be good if you want to put it on an RC plane, or a drone, or do some skateboarding, but it is not practical for police work. I filed a return request and then went through the box to make sure everything was in it and found a note from the seller about not opening a case with Amazon for a return... "AMZ now considers any case opened negative as well so we will be more willing to promptly reply to your concern so that we can achieve your positive 5 star feedback rating!"So I will get held hostage if I do a return through the proper channels?

The patrol eyes had very good video and audio. I did see some issues with where to place it on your body to capture the best video. With some trial and error I was able to fix it. The clips are not strong enough for foot chase, I use it for interviews and searches. Good product for price

I bought it and just as everybody else said it is garbage it works for the first few minutes you actually plug it in and charge it after that it goes dead when you think you look down and it's not on the red light is not on blue lights on and it only works when it's plugged into the charger and then after awhile it doesn't even work then I can't even get it to turn on at all now do not buy it is completely unreliable it is complete garbage it is definitely not for anything more than a toy for a little kid such a waste of money and time very frustrating

Not what I expected. I used to have the MUVI version of this but without the IR. For starters, the buttons are not user friendly, having to hold down the record button once to activate the recording, then hold it down for another 3 seconds to activate the IR. It's not a quick activation. Then there is the 3 min recordings. Yes, it only records in 3 minute increments. The IR is only good for about 3 feet or so, anything beyond that is too dark to recognized. Setting the time/date was simple, but it has nothing to do with what I expected. Now I'm trying to justify buying another, larger, better recorder.
