Check the diameter
The ultima F1 is excellent line. The 18lb is hardly any thicker than the15, much tougher yet casts as well. The large spool have less waste and are not always available.The label on the spool was covered with a bar code, stock control label that mistakenly showed it was 18lb .35mm, when the spool was actually 25lb .40mm.Not what was ordered.Returned and quickly replaced. Obviously just a mistake in the system and not a problem .....Just be sure to check!

Best line on the market but u do need to find the right leader line else like Dr E said it will snap. But still the best mono on the market. I use asso n the knot strenth is brilliant

Line very weak with any type of knot possibly out of date stock
This line breaks very easily at knot. Tried multiple types of knot and results were same i.e. I could break the line at the knot with just my hands. Had Ultima F1 line before and did not have this problem. Possibly this is old out of date stock or a bad batch of line. I would avoid.
