Cancer Council Australia Sensitive Sunscreen-110 ml

I have been using this product since I discovered it on a trip to Australia 4 years ago. The main ingredient consists of zinc micro particles which are clear when properly applied. My skin is very sensitive to chemicals so I can't use most of the sun protection products sold in the US. There are some protection products made for infants that work better than nothing. I have had pre cancerous and cancerous growths removed from my face and head so I am very aware of the damage direct sun can do to your skin.26 March 2015 I just received my order of Cancer Council Sensitive Sunscreen. I was not aware that the manufacturer had changed the formulation. The reason I went to the effort of ordering this product is that the Classic version I have used in the past had ONLY zinc oxide as an active ingredient. There is 220mg/g zinc oxide in the original version plus some Phenoxyethanol, benzyl alcohol, and sorbic acid as preservatives.The new product has a different formulation. If I had been aware of the formulation I would not have purchased this product. The active ingredients are zinc oxide but the concentration has been cut to less than 25% as much zinc. Only 50mg/g. But the big change is the additionon of methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetrametkylbutyphenol 25 mg/g, bemotrizinol 25mg/g, 4-methylbenzylidene camphor 10mg/g.These organic compounds are what make my skin break out and why I stopped using most of the products made in the US. I am really disappointed that this product has had all these organic chemicals added. The SPF went fro 30+ to 50+ between the original product and the new product. I thought the Aussies could be counted on not to mess up a good thing. This compound is undoubtedly much cheaper to produce.
