Prior to purchase I carefully studied to be certain they were compatible with the cooktop model I have. They did not fit, the connector was much to small. Had they fit I would have kept them.

I have replaced the knobs on my GE cooktop several times over the last decade, since the plastic tends to get old and brittle and eventually the torque of turning them to the end of the valve rotation (all the way on/off) causes it to fail. These knobs are by all appearances identical to the original. They seem to be of the same quality and appearance - similarly durable and attractive.

I own the exact same GE cooktop as shown in the product picture, and these knobs fit perfectly. They are however a shiny chrome finish and not the brushed metal finish of most GE Profile products (including the stovetop shown). The item pictures also appear to have more of a brushed metal look for the knobs themselves, so perhaps they have two versions and Amazon just binned the wrong one here. I'd probably purchase again since I needed replacements and they at least look new, just be aware of what you're getting yourself into.

The origional product has a rubber piece that over time wears out(bad design) and they don’t sell this one part only the whole knob. This is a good value replacement if you replace the whole set. The metal is not identical as the origional if you replace just one you can tell it’s different.

these fit just right on our monogram 5 burner range. the original knobs fsiled after 10 years. original plastic internal compoments just cracked to dust. these replace the monogram knobs perfectly. thanks! hopefully they will last longer than oem.
