Aquatic Life Light Park Electronic Ballast Aquarium Lamp/Light, 150-watt

If you were into reefing like a decade or more and still have a Current USA Sunpod this is a direct replacement for the "Sunpark" ballast they used. EVERYTHING is exact: size, specs, wires, EVERYTHING. Plug and play Replaced one at 1rst but the new one was noticably brighter than the tired 10 year old one so replaced the second one.

This lights the 150 watt Daylight HID bulb available from cool lights - yep, now you can have a 150 watt daylight fresnel. Just find a decent 6" fresnel, add a pulse rated bipin socket, come up with an enclosure and cables - for about $100 (if you have a donor fixture) you'll have a handy little HMI that's about 650 watts tungsten equivalent, decent 5200k color rendering.
