Save the Cake! (Bright Owl Books)

Our most favorite reader ever. Adorable pictures, cute story, and great content for an early reader. I wouldn’t start a brand new reader with this book, but this series of books is the next logical step after the Bob books. I’ve given this as a gift and suggested to others. My son adores this book in particular despite the lack of super heroes and robots :-)

Molly Coxe’s readers are the first thing my daughter has LOVED reading. The pictures are so charming. The text is repetitive and strikes the Goldilocks “just right” balance between easy and hard for her. Love all 8 of the ones we have ordered!
