I really was looking forward to some wreaths tips , so I was super impressed as a fashion freak to get some . I really love the chapters and how they're labeling you get a good table of contents so you can go back later and find a special page or cheaper !

Love Rachel Zoe and I have been waiting forever for this book! Wonderfully written. The photography was beyond words. I was so glad to see her in the Jean Patou dress on the cover. On a segment of her old show she swore she sould wear this dress.Well done RZ! Bravo!

I loved the book. Read it from page to page. Excellent advice on style and wonderful stories about her walk to a glamorous life. It is not like other style books. It includes great ideas for your personal style, as well as making your home a great place to relax. I really enjoyed it. Now, I will buy the other book I did not know she wrote. it's on the top of cocktail table selections.

I love Rachel Zoe's style and talent; so I was anxiously awaiting the release of this book. I like the fact that this tome is not so much a " how to", as it is a "this is how I came to be... and am continuing to evolve," type of book. She speaks on her formative years, how her parents' traveling and style choices influenced her home and fashion aesthetics. I love that she addresses how becoming a mother changed her style to include choices that are still fashion-forward yet comfortable and less precious; then going into further detail into how anyone can achieve this.The picture to text ratio is nicely balanced. The content is easy to read and the images are beautiful.

Rachel Zoe is very a very inspiring person to me. She has one of the best work ethics of anyone, so reading her books, watching her on TV and watching her videos keeps me motivated. Note that these are not motivational by design, but just observing her dealing with her clients and observing her work ethic inspires me to do more of what I do and determine do it to the best of my ability even when I am so exhausted that I think I can't do anymore.

After getting to know Rachel Zoe on the Bravo TV series, her style career has soared. What I remember from the series is that Rachel seemed constantly frazzled, wearing a feathery jacket that hid her body. I couldn't tell if this was was her on-camera style or if the air conditioning was too high, but certainly she did not look like what I think of as LA chic.Now some years later, her book presents a different Rachael. There are photos of her at galas wearing glamorous, sleek creations. In setting forth her style guidelines, she presents a lifestyle that is so meticulous and complicated it made me nervous. And yet she seems to be, in print, as being in complete control.She is talented certainly, but as a petite woman myself, I don't agree that one of her favorite outfits, a long flowing caftan with clunky jewelry is flattering at all. After recently seeing her in such an outfit shopping in LA, she looked tired and matronly. Of course since publication she has had a second child, and trying to be perfect can certainly wear a person out.Her book is filled with lots of fashion names and ideas, but I found it a bit repetitive. There are lots of cool photos and advice for entertaining, especially if you are a hostess that likes to plan a party weeks in advance, have help and live an elevated lifestyle.

I enjoyed this. I was inspired to wear more jewellery and clean my closet after reading it. I found myself a over forty mom of two surprised to have so much in common with a person whom I thought of as a diva. I really like the parts of the book about family. Beautiful photos and I keep my make up hero kit with me at all times. Well done Ms. Zoe!

Love this book. I have it in Kindle and Hardcover formats I love it so much. Rachel has a great conversational style, there are tons of great tips, and the photos are beautiful.

Rachel Zoe really knows what fashionistas want to read and see from her. This book is an incredible combination of her own personal stories, background, advice, style eye candy and personal/celebrity photos from past and present.You will not be disappointed with this treasure. Buy it for the advice, the photos and the personal/professional stories from Rachel Zoe. It is the whole package.

Another great book from Rachel Zoe! Everything from how to style yourself, your home and entertaining. I guess in a nutshell Rachel advises us to be organised and pro-active to enable us to live the dream laid back Californian lifestyle which is actually achieved through a lot of hard work and, boy, does this lady work hard!Thoroughly enjoyed and can't wait to see if Rachel decides to write another book.

Obwohl ich eigentlich kein großer Fan von Rachel Zoe bin, gefällt mir dieses Buch sehr gut. Layout und Bilder machen Spaß, der Inhalt deckt viele Facetten persönlichen Stils ab, von Mode über Schönheit, zu Wohnungseinrichtungen, Reisen, etc.Am besten gefällt mir, dass viele Tips enthalten sind, die nicht schon in anderen Büchern stehen und nicht so aufwendig (Zeit/Geld) in der Umsetzung sind.****************Although I am not Rachel Zoe's biggest fan, I massively enjoyed this book. Layout and pictures are fun, the content covers a wide range: fashion, beauty, living, travelling, etc.What I like best about: the book contains advice which cannot be found elsewhere and which can easily be incorporated into everyday life w/o much money / time.
