I only docked a star because I'm a bit concerned on how well it'll hold up in the long run because it is made of plastic. But aside from that and while knowing there are sizes variances based on footwear brands, it measured pretty decently overall. I checked my own sizing as well as the sizing of my kids ranging between 1 1/2yrs old to 17yrs old and it was close if not spot on.

Helpful with growing kids and grandkids. Reviews by Amazon customers are very misleading on shoe sizes. I’m wondering if it is malicious as I’ve had to do 2 returns.

For $15 I would have expected much better quality. This item is so flimsy and poorly made. The measurements aren't even accurate as I measured my 3 year old daughter's foot and it measured at a 9 when she's already wearing a 10 and almost outgrowing that. Save yourself the headache and don't buy this product. I wish I had just splurged and bought a metal Brannock device.

This foot measurement guide is perfect for my family. I was very excited to receive it and see if it was accurate or not. It was completely accurate measuring my foot and both my children. With my growing boys, they go through shoes so quickly and neither ever complain about tight shoes. This will be perfect for me to be able to check their feet periodically for size changes. Also, both my 3 year old and 16 month old sat still and giggled as I measured. It didn't even phase them. It does take some patience and practice to get an accurate width measurement though.The 3 year old actually really likes the foot measure and spent the next 15 minutes measuring everyone's feet and his stuffed animals too.I really appreciate that the directions are included right on the foot measure on how to use it for both the size and width of feet. Too many products come with instructions that once unboxed, you never can find again, so having the instructions on the back is perfect. Also, it folds down to about half the size of a ruler, so it doesn't take up a lot of space either. I definitely recommend this product and look forward to being able to confidently get a pair of shoes for my boys when I'm out without them and know their size is accurate.
