Had my locs installed and my stylist LOVED them. She said they were very easy to use, and I’m so glad I took a chance and ordered these! They are definitely human hair-I did the burn test on one of the open ends and my house smelled of burned hair for a few hours. Highly recommended!

(Long review, but I wanted to say in detail what I did)Just got my locs in the mail today (a day early). The locs I received were package well in a easy resellable bag (just in case I needed to do a return).Upon opening the package, the locs did have a smell, as expected. It is real human hair (I did the burn test on a few).I soaked my locs in lukewarm water for about three minutes. There was a lot of discoloration to the water, maybe from a rinse out dye. I just soaked with lukewarm water until water was clear.After that I soaked locs in cold water mixed with organic apple cider vinegar with the mother in it. After rinsing the ACV out, I soaked the locs in cold water with my regular conditioner to soften locs to my desired softness (about five minutes or so). There was shedding, as expected.I rung the water from the locs by hand and I now have them wrapped in a towel readying myself to blow dry them through and through.The way these locs preformed during my ACV detox and co-wash, I am extremely please and ready for my install. The hair arrived as promised with in 2 days if not 2 days with Prime. It does feel rough and have a out the pack wig smell. I shampooed this hair and conditioned it at least 3 times. It did soften a little but still today it had the out the pack wig smell so I just oiled them which helps. Also it sheds straight from the pack the hair shedded. Overall I do like it I just wished they were slightly smaller I’m not sure if it’s really 100% human hair bc I didn’t do the burn test however this product did do the job. So I did do a burn test and the hair balled up like I was burning braiding hair which explains the smell that seems to not go away it’s not a wig smell it is synthetic hair it smells like braiding hair. I do believe there is some human hair mixed in but it is NOT 100% human hair. Because braiding hair makes my scalp itch the first week I was going crazy so I bought apple cider vinegar mixed with water and coconut oil to spray through out the day. I can now go a full day without spraying my hair. How I still stand on the size I wish they were pencil size instead of an ink pen.

Dreadlocks were the perfect size for my existing locs. They were easy to put in and they look like mine! Before you use them make sure you wash them. My water was so dark like lake water had to give them about 4 rounds of rinses till the water was clear. I recommend these locs though. I included pics of one of my actual locs and what it looked like when I attached the extension loc. Then once I added all of them I did a style.

Ordered Friday night and it came Sunday around 4! So great shipping. It smelled like the loose human hair I’ve bought at the hair store before. There’s A LOT ALOT OF SHEDDING. A lot of reviews said it was itchy. I washed it a few times. It smelled like chemicals… ehhhh. So I did 2 washes with antibacterial soap. Then let it soak in some vinegar. Rinse it out and there was still decent amount of shedding. Then I washed it with some shampoo, and conditioner and they were soft again. Added some oil to it and dried them. Going to install them on my own. I got the 40 strands so I will do 10 a day!! Will update once installed, worn and dyed for a while.UPDATE: this hair is ITCHYYYY. I’ve bleached it twice so far and it has lightened at the same pace as my real hair. I’ve curled it with cold rods etc.To the people saying they’ve slid out… it has a lot to to with the way you install your locs! I chose to braid my locs on then wrap a small piece of human hair around it. They haven’t slipped or anything.Update 2: 08/07/2022I’ve now colored/bleach this hair about 4 times. It lightens at the same speed as my real hair. This hair is STILLLLLL itchy !!! This hair is stiff and I will do braid outs and curls etc and the curls and waves after the plaits don’t last long :-( the curls always fall the same day and the waves from the plates last like two days and it’s practically bone straight again. It has a smell everytime I wash it and I wash my hair a lot.
