AG CareHair Natural Dry Lift Texture And Volume Paste, 1.5 Fl Oz

I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I grabbed it upon a recommendation from another person with thin, fine hair and boy was she right. To use, I wash and dry my hair at *night*, then first apply a light overall scalp dusting of (very inexpensive) dry shampoo from another brand as I have a very oily scalp. This does help with oil, but doesn't give me the interesting piecey-ness I am after. Enter AG Dry Lift - I then take a tiny amount of the AG Dry Lift on my fingers, rub it into my finger tips then ever so lightly rub it into the strands near the roots of the areas I want to have more volume and shape, generally concentrated around the front hairline and crown. I then sleep with my long hair up in a loose bun on the top of my head. In the morning I have perfectly clean, easy to manage hair with volume and body at the roots that I can do anything I want with. This is what works for me and my hair situation. Scent is a light lemony essential oil type. Very faint and unobtrusive.I will buy this as long as they continue making it! Also great that I am supporting a local Canadian company!Edit: wanted to add that if you are getting a "gravelly" result you are using WAY too much product. This product is a thick, smooth paste. You only apply the tiniest amount at one time. You know how you would only use a tiny dab on your finger if using a little pot of lip balm? Like that much. Maybe even less. Start there. Rub that tiiiiny amount into your fingers, then lightly rub that into your strands near the roots.

I have fine hair that I liken to cobwebs, feathers, Yorkie hair. If you can relate, I am writing this review for you...and HUGS! Okay, so I use a small dab of this product (a pea size rubbed on my hands) and work it into my roots on newly washed, damp hair—tiny amount! Then I rub in a little Hair Dance Volumizing Dry Shampoo with my fingers (inexpensive, long-lasting, bought on Amazon--I have tried them all). This combo is the only thing that gives me light, workable texture without greasiness or heaviness. I wear my hair in a bun, braids or a ponytail with bangs and fringe (I think if I had a different cut it may be even more dynamic!). This combo allows me to go 3-4 days without washing (day three is best) if I add a little powder each night. Never in my life has that been possible with my "feathers". I am 52. This combo helps me feel cute about my hair. I have tried every fine hair/volumizing/thickening/texturizing product under the $un. Also...this combo is the cleanest dry paste (and dry shampoo) I have found and both smell lovely without a synthetic vibe. LOVE!

I was looking for a "dry paste" that would give my short, very fine hair some lift and texture. Well, I found it!This paste is exactly what I've been looking for. I get awesome lift, great texture and "pieciness" to the point where I"m on day 3 and I don't feel like I need to wash my hair to establish lift. The smell is lovely, herbal and fresh! Fine haired ladies, rejoice!

You only need the tiniest, tiniest bit of this. I have fine 2c-3a curly hair, and I put a tiny amount on my fingertips, rub my fingertips from each hand together, and sortof scrub it into my scalp. It does work wonders for giving me instant lift! Be aware, though, that it definitely dries your scalp out and I'm not going to use it in the winter. It also leaves a bit of "grit" to your hair so wash day will probably be tomorrow when you use it! I'm happy that I bought it though.

Please do not pay attention to the negative reviews of this product. It is exactly as advertised: a DRY lift texture paste. Of course it is going to make your hair feel dry; dry is literally in the name of the product! Of course your hair will feel greasy the next day; it is a heavy paste! I absolutely love this product. It dries and lifts my roots, in lieu of dry shampoo, and adds texture to my long bob. I highly recommend it.
