This is not for a UK keyboard (fairly sure it's a US version) so I had no option but to return for a full refund. I might have worked around one or two incorrectly marked keys but there are at least six, meaning too many compromises: the £ is marked as #; the @ is “; the # is \; microphone mute is marked flight; HP Command Centre key is prt screen; \ is ctrl;Also, the dark rubber material prevents the user seeing the indicator lights for microphone, caps lock, num lock or mute. Finally, in dim light, the backlighting is useless as the characters do not illuminate. A transparent material with no printed characters would have been a more sensible option to allow the user to see the keys underneath and permit proper functionality of the backlighting.

I purchased this to protect my keyboard from the elements. To elaborate; dust, greasy finger prints, food, and everything else that could possibly ruin my pristine keyboard. That being said, I absolutely do not eat food whilst using my computer, that's nasty. I just love the idea that it is keeping my keyboard pristine and protected.I ordered the black one to go with my Pavilion Power 15, which is also black. It fits perfectly, and isn't too invasive nor is it an eyesore to look at. Very well 'engineered' especially to fit each of the keys perfectly. It genuinely does look OEM, and could quite easily go un-noticed. At this point, I would like to note that this keyboard cover/skin is in the International 'American' format. Not an issue for me as I had come from a MacBook Pro, and my Pavilion shares the same layout. On that note, it's a perfect match.If I had to nitpick any downsides, it would be the fact that the back-lit keys aren't back-lit keys anymore. There is a glow around the keys, but not the actual characters on the keys. I've also noticed that there isn't actually a cut out for the caps lock light, or the mute light. So it can be quite difficult to differentiate whether the function of those keys are active or not.I find typing feels a bit different, I do tend to make one or two more mistakes than usual. But I purchased this laptop for some 'light' gaming, which isn't affected by the cover. So no major issues there.Would I recommend this? - YES! It does exactly as intended. Just keep in mind the back-light, and layout. If neither of those caveats are applicable to you, then this my friend, will be a 100% perfect purchase.Side note: Shipping from the USA was super quick. It was with me in about 4 days! Impressed.

I was amazed at how well this fitted the keyboard. It really fits like a glove. It’s thin and flexible. The only issue I have with it is that the edges around each key are slightly raised which makes it harder to slide your fingers across the keys. Also it would be good if the f&j locating nubs were slightly more prominent as they’re hard to find. I have just started to practice touch typing and this hampers me so I can’t actually use it at the moment. Hopefully as I get better I’ll be able to type with it in place. For now it’s just looks very pretty.

I don't know they did it so well but this product is flawless and fits each individual key PERFECTLY - so my entire keyboard is 100% protected from dust and any kind of debris! Better still - you are still able to type like normally as if there wasn't a cover there at all (Nice!) :-)(Its really nice when products are honest and do what they say they are going to do on the 'tin'. This is one such 'honest' product that DOES DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN! Huge THANK YOU to the manufacturers of this!)
