Paddy & Scott's 31x Craft Coffee Brew bags

I have literally just received my first order of paddy and Scott’s brew bags and dove straight in and made my first cup. I was not disappointed, these give a nice medium strength brew with lots of flavour and none of the bitter aftertaste which I have experienced with other coffee bags.I own a very expensive (to my budget) bean to cup coffee machine which whilst brewing a decent cup I have yet to be blown away despite using various beans and settings. For this reason I have been trying out various brands of coffee bag and have had mixed results to be fair. The worst have been big brand bags from a company which sounds like an African big cat (won’t name them but you get the picture) and after a few disappointments I decided to ask Google and read a few of the reviews. This is where I discovered Paddy and Scott’s as there were a number of very favourable reviews including a best on test by the independent which also shared my thoughts on some of the others which I had tried so I was sold.The price was good, the packaging was great and environmentally friendly and the aroma of good coffee just hit me when I opened the pouch. The final product was smooth and tasty and I cannot recommend this enough, give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

The coffee, given its brew method is good. So it’s a good alternative to a longer brewed coffee if you need the convenience.That said, the last pack I’ve ordered, more than half of the bags have split making the coffee undrinkable. This has effectively doubled the per bag price of this. I was happy to write it off as a bad batch, but when I’ve contacted the sellers through Amazon, I’ve had no response. I don’t recommend this product and won’t be buying it again.

It is a constant source of amusement for my wife that I buy so many different coffees. well no more! The fact is I have been searching for what, for me, is the perfect drink and my search is now over. I don't have the taste-buds or fancy-pants vocabulary to come out with the "overtones of pistachio" and "an after taste of coal-tar" guff. All I can say is that this stuff refreshes me like no other coffee before.

I was gifted a box of these by a doting daughter who knows I love coffee; I normally use a filter cone. So, I started with one bag in a mug - the packaging says there are two shots in each bag. Disgusting result, barely better than hot water. Two bags- better but still a poor excuse for a mug of coffee. It takes THREE bags to prepare an acceptable mug of coffee, so only 10 drinks from a box, which is not good value. By comparison, for the same mug I use 2 scoops of a premium ground coffee in a filter.

Fantastic flavoured coffee! Discovered this whilst on holiday in Norfolk! Had to buy on my return home! Easy to use and smells Devine!!
