Tales from the Forest Kingdom Coloring Book (Hanna Karlzon)

I love every book I have by Hannah Karlzon. If you don't have one or more you are missing out. This book is smaller than some of her other books. I love that the cover and back are hard. Can't go wrong with it.

This is the second book by this artist for me. The designs are nicely composed, the printing is clean. These pages are very nice and heavy or a variety of media.

Gave this one to my DIL for her birthday, she loved it. Have fun coloring!!!

The drawings are done very well. But, I do not care for coloring so many mushrooms, they are not pretty and colorful. The ears are not to my taste, because I don't believe in what is not true, fairies.

every book Hanna Karlzon makes is a masterpiece

I was unsure about this coloring book, but after hearing about the artists health, I wanted to support her. Tales from the Forest Kingdom will leave every type of colorist content. There are nature scenes, people, fantasy animals and creatures, objects, jewels, and more. Nothing is ever too cluttered or overwhelming. The paper works well with pencils. Water based markers are fine for an under painting, but more than one or two layers will cause pilling.

Like: can't go wrong with any of Hanna Karlzon's Books.Consistent great designs, bold lines, great quality paper takes marker, watercolor and gel pens well.Forest Kingdom is smaller sized than other books like Magical Dawn. However, pictures have not been shrunk because of the difference. I believe I prefer coloring in the larger style, but haven't colored in Forest Kingdom yet. There may be no difference.

ok. i don’t even know where to start. this book is aMAZING.first of all, it really is hard back. i was expecting a flimsy or plastic-y back and cover but it is a real hard back book. also, the pages are thick enough to use watercolors or markers without it bleeding through to the next page. i saw a different review saying they were thin but they’re definitely not thin.another thing that i really like is that the outlines are dark and opaque enough that if you color on the lines it isn’t noticeable at all like in any other coloring book.all in all it’s a great book and i’m so happy with it!
