Exact replacement for my Carrier 58MCB120-10120
Received new in a box in a timely manner. Was the exact OEM replacement for my Carrier 58MCB120-10120. My HVAC blower motor was making a oscillating "hum" noise when spinning up to speed. I started by replacing the start capacitor but noise was still there (the capacitor reading was just outside the rated tolerance). Once I swapped it out with this one, it sounds like new again. Fairly easy job, I have done it before in my previous house. The unit it replaced was 13 years old.

Defective Motors
I’ve made two purchases for the same motor thinking that the first one was just a rare instance. The second one I received was also defective where the motor shaft will not even turn by hand.

OEM motor
Exact replacement motor for my Carrier Furnace. It dropped into place without any issue. Color of the 4spd wires are exact length and the same as the original motor. Label shows assembled in Mexico which is the same also. Runs perfectly.

SImple switch out for any capable DIYer
My original blower motor failed after about 10 years. On dismantling it, it appears that the installer failed to notice a piece of styrofoam that was occasionally jamming the air cage which eventually resulted in the motor burning out. Installation of this new motor was simple enough, an exact replacement. Just remember to take a quick photo of the wiring into your control board before removing the old one so you don't get the cables mixed up! Save yourself $100s and replace it yourself!
