Whether you are a first-timer to using activated charcoal for its benefits or whether you have been using activated charcoal for a while, this is essential to have.This activated charcoal can be added to almost everything. You can add this to face masks, baked goods, shakes, smoothies, ice cream, toothpaste, baths, etc. Utilize the internet for other uses and ideas with activated charcoal. The possibilities are endless. My personal uses have been in baths, protein shakes, tooth brushing, face masks, and even baked goods! (Again, check online for recipes!)When I brush with this I don't really use it with toothpaste. I have a cheap toothbrush set aside for charcoal cleansing because it does stain the toothbrush bristles (it won't stain your teeth though). I keep my electronic toothbrush for toothpaste only to save from staining it. The charcoal has no taste at all but it is very drying. If you are going to use this for tooth cleansing alone without toothpaste I would recommend wetting your toothbrush first or having a bit of water in your mouth to help distribute the charcoal throughout your mouth to all your teeth. You can consume this as well but when brushing your teeth, since it is pulling the toxins/germs from your teeth I would also recommend spitting it out after brushing. Again, It is safe to consume but probably not ideal after it's been used to pull out grime from your teeth.The activated charcoal is a powder. Be careful because it can get messy, just like flour or powdered sugar. The packaging is amazing though. It is bagged three times in resealable bags. There's one bag with the charcoal in it, a secondary bag in case of it opening during shipment, and the third bag in the exterior bag.Again, this is mostly known to be used for teeth whitening but there are so many other things you can do with activated charcoal! It's an amazing price for a large amount of something that helps cleanse the body! If you've ever wanted to try activated charcoal, now is the time!

Loved this charcoal! Works great to whiten your teeth and it's a much cheaper alternative to other whitening products. Also works wonders as a cleanse (I mixed it with water and drank). The biggest drawback is that it can be messy but that would be the case with any brand of charcoal. I haven't used the entire bag yet but once it's finished I plan to buy it again.

Natural food coloring for black. Works wonderfully, and helped me to make the most beautiful BLACK frosting without having to use nasty food dyes. I would highly recommend this product!

Use caution if you're using this as a face mask because it is one of the hardest things to get off of anything it comes in contact with it I had a black Smurf he residue on my face after several washes and using exfoliating pads ! It also completely stained the silicone mixing bowl set I have specifically for making facemasks after three cycles in the dishwasher and soaking this stuff does not want to leave anything comes in contact with! I'm sure it's great but I am just sticking to using it for my teeth

First off, this was a fantastic purchase. There are three bags inside of each other, so it’s triple-sealed. It comes with a tiny little scoop. And it has little recipes. Yeah, okay if you’re foolish, it’ll get everywhere. It’s charcoal, it does that. Just like /any/ other powder. But for the price you get a ton of it, with great packaging, and a scoop that is cuter than it had any right to be.

This was a lifesaver when I was doing a heavy herbal detox of Parasites I had picked up in southeast Asia. I was taking a bunch of herbal antimicrobials and would overdo it because of my impatience. The charcoal saved my life several times when the die off was unbearable and making me really sick. Just mix a couple tsp-tbls in water and chug. Relief is almost instant.

I first used this product mixed with bentonite clay (creating a mask), to shrink my pores; and it does more than just that! It minimizes any acne pimples I have (drastically), diminishes old acne marks, balances greasy skin, and it even helped even out my skin tone. I’ve purchased a few different charcoal powder. This one is the best so far. It’s pretty cost efficient, and you receive a decent amount of the charcoal. I like that it’s sealed well. Three layers or pinch lock bags. Of course it’s messy, it’s charcoal. I recommend getting a small mixing bowl, adding the water first, and then shake a bit of the powder into the bowl, if your using it for a face mask. If brushing your teeth with it, just wet your toothbrush and dip the brush into the bag. Easiest and most mess free way I’ve found.
