Bought these for my fifth grader. The school put down artificial turf and the rubber pellets were getting in his cleats. Other than getting them on, they work just like they are supposed to. The easiest way that I found to get them on was to put on his socks first, put the spats on and push them up above his ankle, put on his cleats, then pull the bottom of the spats over the cleats.Depending on how snug the fit is for the size, this can be challenging. I would recommend you do not dry these in a dryer as they will shrink some and that should help getting them on.The size chart on their listing was spot on for us. Can't say for sure on larger sizes.

We've used cleat covers such as these over past several years and can typically put them on without much difficulty. However, this brand runs very small and is VERY difficult to put on - even the XL. If you order two sizes larger than what you think you'd need, then they fit OK once they're on, although very snug. But getting them on is VERY difficult - even oversized ones! I've used this brand and two other brands this year and all three brands are exactly the same - very difficult to put on. I'm rather certain upon comparing them that all three brands are coming out of the same factory in Asia. They'll do OK if you're in a bind and can't find any that are made in a different factory. But for the cost, somewhere in the market place there are OTHER cleat covers that install easily and work just as good as these. I don't know where to find them though. Like you, I'm searching for some like we used to use in years past. Wish I could remember the good brands. Good luck!

I had read these were small so I ordered a large for my 9year old who wears a size 4.5 shoe. They were tight and once I washed it, they shrunk even more making them even tighter, but I was expecting a tight fit. It looks good and we didn't have to worry about constantly tying his shoes. Just super hard getting them off and on but other than that, great product.

I had no idea these things exsisted..lol but my son loves them. He think they make his cleats and leg look sexy...go figure. Guess I'll be ordering more soon cause he'll loose one shortly....#happy mom. I'm a hero today😀

Very satisfied with this product. Great value for price. My son plays hard and these stood the test. He will be able to use them next season as well.

They were easy to put on and looked very good while he was out on the field. Would def recommend to others, heavy duty made.

My son can never keep his shoelaces tied. This was the perfect solution!

Just remember to pull then all the way up like a leg warmer then put on cleats. Once they are on, pull down and place heal hole & cover laces.These add extra support and no more worrying about laces.
