Bought these because my eyesight is getting worse with old age, and am having difficulty seeing in poor light.They are excellent !! The light is very bright at the writing tip, and means I can easily see as I write. Have been using them for only 2 days, but already have used them a lot, and not experienced any writing issues (drying up etc). I am also using them as a light when trying to read the small print on product labels.

I bought the black ones for my wife, and she loved them. When she asked for some more I tried the silver version and they weren't nearly as good quality, I had to return the first pack of silver as three of them didn't work, One didn't light up, one was dented in a place that stopped the pen from retracting and the third was just snapped in half at the ring part. A refund was issued immediately and as I'd put the damage down to delivery I ordered a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement set were also dented but after some repairs I managed to salvage 3 of the 4.In summary, get the black version.

Very good for the price. They are perfect for writing down dreams in the middle of the night without disturbing anyone. Not sure whether the ink cartridge and battery can be replaced, but I haven’t checked that out yet. If someone invented one with a dimmer switch, that would be amazing, but these are very very good.

I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed in this order. Because the ones that work are brilliant I orderedordered a 4th set of these pens..Again when trying, 2 worked very well, the other 2 were hardly a glimmer. I now have quite a few pens, not fully working sadly. WILL NOT BUY ANYMORE!!!Please check to avoid disappointment if a [useful] present.

These pens are something I use for work frequently and I bought two packs because they’re value for money. I was disappointed however when out of the 8 pens I got, only two actually had ink that worked. All the lights worked and they are super bright but only two pens actually worked to write with so felt like a waste of money all in all.

Excellent idea, garbage QC failure, or stock sitting around in a warehouse for years. 3 of 4 pens arrived with dead batteries. The one that worked wasn't worth the price of the others.

My wife works nights in the hospital and it makes it easier for her to write notes without having to get a torch. So as not to wake the patient up.

Only three of the pens work.The fourth does not light up.Not good value for the money.
