Used several times on ice and had no issues with traction. Used on a steep driveway that had iced over and walking trail with hills and side slopes with sections of trail a sheet of total ice. Walked the trail in same time as if it were dry, summer conditions. Slip on and off very easily putting them on shoe first then putting shoe on foot. Bought size XL and those fit well on size 12 snow boots and size 12 tennis shoes. Condition after 6 uses is excellent as the steel and the overall condition is as good now as when new.

We've had ice & snow here in Seattle this Winter & at times it has been slick & slippery. I thought I'd give these a try for those times I might need them. I wear about a Men's shoe size 10 and got these in XL which fit ok. Bigger boots might be a challenge. These fit but my complaint is they allow too little width for the ice crampon cleat, especially under the heel. That would make turning my ankle easy. I feel like I'm a balancing act so the stability is less for me. Any nick in the stretched rubber would probably cause it to fail, just like a cut in a tensioned rubber band. For those reasons I've dropped one star. The stainless steel material is fine.I can at best give a Limited 4 Star Recommendation for these Yatta Life Store Ice Spikes - Stainless Steel Crampons - Anti Slip Winter Grippers - Traction Cleats - Durable Snow Teeth Grips - Ideal for Walking, Jogging, Running, Hiking, Climbing. I already have a pair of running Kleets but all rusted....last time I went out running , they slipped so decided on these and left in awe . Went out running on a very cold day where the snow covered some very icy spots ..amazed at the solidity and grip of the spikes. Had reservations given the chain like link at the bottom could have been loose and might have created some wabbly feel but not at all ..All grips are secure and strong making my favorite sport a breeze even in iffy weather .Thank you
