Red Kap Men's Exterior Pocket Lab Coat

This lab coat is just what I wanted. I've used lab coats since college and this one is very nice. It is comfortable and warm with nice heavy fabric and durable. It is nice enough to work with a shirt and necktie for a more formal look. Whatever your environment, hospital, laboratory, workshop, or YouTube set, this is a great coat for the job. A great value for the price.

Much heavier coat than I was expecting, also much longer. I have another coat, by a different 'best seller' manufacturer, and this one is definitely much heavier, and much longer. Size wise, it fits me rather well maybe a little on the larger size. I comfortably wear a medium T-shirt, and this jacket gives me extra shoulder width but still is not excessive. Overall I really do like the coat, but my ONLY issue is I wish it was about 3 inches shorter in length, as I'm not the tallest of people and it comes mid-calf on me. And i wish the hand slits on the side were about half an inch lower as well. I may just have to hem it myself. But the material quality is excellent and the stitching seems to be very well.

I started working in a research lab at school and wanted a better coat than the thin cheap one I was using from previous lab courses. I was very surprised with the quality of the coat for the price. I’m 6’/210lbs and the large fit perfectly, it sits comfortably over your clothes with enough room so you don't feel as restricted in it like some coats do. The only reason it got four stars and not five is that I was hoping it would be a bit thicker material and not as “see through”. It’s not too noticeable though. Either way, this is a great coat for the price and you’ll be looking more professional in the lab!

My employer orders uniform items from Red Kap, and I have always been impressed with the quality of their garments. That said, I am a very small woman (5 ft. and thin), and knowing how the sizing runs on our uniforms, I ordered a men's medium. It fits over my clothing loosely and comfortably, but not too loosely. The only catch was that I had to shorten the sleeves by two inches. To the people who have complained that the sleeves run too short, I will say, "You must not work in a lab." You don't want your sleeves wrist-length because that presents a safety hazard. It was an easy task to shorten them.

When buying a coat for gross anatomy that will inevitably become incredibly filthy and eventually be burned at the end of the semester you don't want to break the bank, but you still want a coat that isn't going to fall to pieces while you're elbow deep in the pleural cavity. This coat was nice and thick and had sturdy pockets to store extra gloves, dissection tools, and other odds and ends. I don't remember much about the fit aside from that it did fit. I washed it after the first three of our 4 practicals. the smell doesn't really come out so I'm not sure I'd bother. being mostly polyester the material melts into flames very rapidly and puts off a substantial amount of heat.

Quality lab coat. The material is thick enough so that whatever you are wearing underneath cannot be seen. Many lab coats at this price point are cheaply made and quite thin. I like to wear my coats a bit baggy so this one is comfortable and long enough. I do not like lab coats that barely reach your knee. I prefer a longer length, this fits the bill. Buy this!

Overall quality seems okay. Did return product because of sizing issue. I stand 5' 10', 185 lbs. Chest and shoulders were snug. Could hardly raise arms. Sleeve length was short. Waist and coat length were okay

Cheap and simple for a Chemistry class in school.The size fits as expected and has the quality of a accepted lab coat features.Not amazing but perfect for a student who is looking for a cheap lab coat to buy.

Better to buy offline guys. Quality is super good but way toooo oversized.

Fits like a charm. Great coat.

It seems of good quality and size fits as expected BUT the item we received is not what they show in the picture. The one I received didn't have the elastic cuffs nor the snapping buttons.
