I had one of these before from quite a few years before , not sure if the same seller, but the tip and spring fell out, so I ordered this one. It does one thing only, it lets you power your Wouxun handheld transceiver from the 12 volt socket in your vehicle instead of from the rechargeable battery. It works great. With this battery eliminator, a cell phone mount, a separate speaker/mic and a mag mount antenna, my Wouxon transceiver is a fantastic mobile radio!

Not bad at all.
I have a really old car with the wrong type of cigarret lighter for this to work. Really solid construction, though. Plug is fused nicely. Pretty decent cord.
