Irish Celtic Rosary RS510

I am giving this five stars, not because they're the most beautiful beads in the world, but because they are exactly as described and came in the time frame they were supposed to. I ordered these quickly as a little gift to put in my sister's birthday card. I didn't read the reviews because it was such a small gift. A few days later, before the beads had come, I decided to read the reviews. I was horrified by some of them saying that the green came off in your hands and on walls, and the cross was smudged. I thought I better order something else quick. After reading the reviews, I half expected the beads to melt in my hand like a green blob! Before I could find another gift, the rosaries came, and I have no idea what these reviewers are talking about! They are a perfectly nice pair of rosary beads. I thought the green was pretty-not neon, the beads were sparkly, and the cross very nice. Granted they are not a family heirloom, like my solid gold beads, or my chrystal rosaries from the Vatican, but they are comparable to what you would buy in a hospital gift shop or craft fair for 20 dollars. They are perfectly nice to keep in your car or purse or bring into a wake, or to give someone as a small token. They would be very touched and pleased. Keep in mind these were 6 dollars and change! You can't buy a big mac for that!

The links don't seem very sturdy but it's still nice and will only be worn for special occasions. Thank you!!

I love it- much better quality than I expected- the beads are almost irridescent but still sparkly green! Perfect for my Irish grand twins First Communion!

This is a really nice rosary, especially if you're Irish Catholic. Durable and lightweight. Would have rated it higher except the beads smell REALLY plasticky and it can be distracting when you're in prayer. But it's good for how cheap it is.

Beautiful glass green beads on these. Purchased as gifts and I was very pleased when I opened the package but more importantly the recipients were very happy with these.

The rosary is nice but doesn't take stress. The chain is stiff and kinks up a bit but easy to fix.. The cross is beautiful. Overall a very nice piece. Supplemental review 11/27/2014. The first rosary broke within the first three months. Liked it so I purchased another. The second one just broke. Both in similar spots - between the decade and the Glory Be links. Going to see if the company will take them back. Need soldered links for longevity. 2/1/2015 company refused to take back the rosaries because it was beyond 30 days. Do not purchase, will not hold together

I absolutely love this rosary. I don't know why, but I typically carry it everywhere with me (in my pocket). The heat of my body and the constant bending against it has warped the actual cross/crucifix part of the rosary, but it doesn't bother me. Carrying it around with me gives me a sense of contentment. I'm Irish and Catholic, so this seems fitting to be a permanent piece to be carried on me.

This item was not exactly my cup of tea. Mostly because of the quality of the beads and how BAD it smells. I'm not too surprised though because it was too good to be true that I was paying that low for a nice rosary. Even then, it serves its purpose and I use it to honor the Holy Mother.
