Well constructed. I was very impressed with the provision of a metal rod which passes through the pole near the top end and acts as a safety feature to prevent collapse of the umbrella in the event of the collapsing mechanism being activated accidentally. I also like the ability to tilt the shade. Very pleased with purchase.

I didn't know which company to buy an umbrella from but given how happy I was with all my songmics self assembly furniture (a dream to put together, instructions simple, end products solid and stunning, yet amazingly good value for money) i took a punt on their umbrellas. Did not disappoint. V. easy to put up and down. Look good. Feels like a decent quality umbrella. But only had up for two days so far. So time will tell.

We chose this one for the apparent sturdiness and the fact that it had vents at the top to let the wind pass through. Well we were mistaken. The vents do nothing, they are sewn on so tightly that nothing could get through them. The overall design is flimsy and I guess we'll be looking for another one before the summer is out. Could have got one of the same quality for half the price.

Very easy to use but needs a firm base to hold it up, especially when tilted, and also to hold it down in place.Twice in moderate winds it has blown in to the neighbours gardens over the fence! Rises straight up into the air!Sturdy support needed for a very good umbrella. We had it in a water filled base which had no problems with out previous umbrella.

The order took quite a while to arrive. Disappointed as it doesnt fit into my stand as the bottom is too small and doesnt hold sturdy. it's of Poor quality in my opinion and maybe only good for the beach if securely in the sand but I think it would probably blow away with the slightest wind.

Put up when the Sun was around, still up in all the Wind and Rain, needs a base, but very pleased like the colour and looks good in my Love Seat

Love this and it is much larger than I imagined. The tilt action is very useful to get the most shade out of where you are sitting. Can get blown over though if any strong winds occur. On the whole a great product well packaged and quality material. Packs down into its own little bag so handy to transport.

Excellent product. I've bought from Songmics before, and was expecting these to be well-made, and was not disappointed.Nice bright colours, robust construction, and effective adjustment. There's a security pin to prevent unexpected closure, too.
