So glad I bought these
I needed a container for the leftover mix I have each time I blender a smoothie to drink. I had purchased plastic drink containers for this purpose, but the smallest I could find was 32 oz (which meant half was unfilled air), and the cleaning was always difficult. I only wanted to buy one or two glass bottles, but looked everywhere and this six pack was really the only option I could find, so paid the price which seemed to be a premium for glass jars.Firstly, they work exactly as I hoped with the smoothie leftovers. Tastes great, so nice to handle the cool glass, and cleanup is a breeze. They are very solid - almost jar like - and look great. But I'm actually so glad I got the six pack since I use them every time I have a liquid refrigeration need. For instance, I bought a case of the 24 oz Arizona Iced Tea cans, and will immediately fill an an Aquasana bottle with 18 oz, to toss in the fridge and then have the manageable 6 oz left to drink from the can. Or I'll buy 2 large Café Lattes at Starbucks, and put one in an Aquasana bottle for a convenient and delicious Iced Latte the next day. It seems in the few months I've had them I usually have 3 or so working in the fridge at any given time.I have not used as water refills yet. I have my favorite plastic bottle for the gym which holds more, fills easily with ice, and can take a beating. And for my water needs around the house I typically either pour glasses from a gallon pitcher I refill and keep in the fridge, or drink poland spring bottled water . However, I think I'll dedicate one of the Aquasana bottles just for water and leave it in the fridge, and use it to take to the car each day --- just the right size and that feel of cold, solid glass is unbeatable.Others mentioned some problems with the caps, but I haven't had any at all. They are easy to spin on and off, and totally leak-proof. And the bottles fit in the lower rack dishwasher easily for simple cleaning (again, a big advantage over plastic refill bottles which melt on lower rack sometimes but don't fit on upper rack.)Even if you don't think you need these, buy them. You'll find more than enough ways to use them. And they fit easily on any shelf in the fridge.

Use 'em Everyday, Love 'em, Real Attention Getters!
If you are like me, you don't like drinking out of plastic bottles. Sure, some of them claim to be BPA-free, but what else is in them? Plastic is a manufactured material with lots of possible contaminants that can leach out into your water over time. Plastic is especially volatile when exposed to heat, such as when you leave plastic bottles in the sun or run them through your dishwasher. This happens in common usage, and few of us stop to think about what kind of chemicals we are ingesting with our water. Now there's a better solution--old school glass bottles, just like the milk man used to deliver, except more stylish. Glass is a much simpler and more chemically stable material. In addition, I know from personal experience that glass bottles are far more durable over time. I have been drinking from my Aquasana bottles everyday for months now, and they look like the day I bought them. When I put them on the bottom rack of the dishwasher (don't try that with many plastic bottles, as they will melt), they come out crystal clear--no streaks, spots or gunk stuck to them, like the old plastic bottles I hated to use. There are many more things I love about my Aquasana bottles:+ Thick Glass to Protect Against Accidental Breakage: Sure, it's glass, but it isn't a wine glass. These puppies will hold up to a good knock before breaking. In fact, I have never had one break, and they have taken a few hits.+ Wide Mouth Opening: This feature has 2 key benefits. First, it makes them very dishwasher friendly. As I previously mentioned, they come out of my dishwasher crystal clear--no streaks, spots, or gunk. Second, I actually put the cubes from my refrigerator into the bottle. No, I am not talking about crushed ice. I put CUBES into the wide opening. The cubes my Whirlpool makes automatically are the semi-circle shaped cubes. I stick them into the opening and hit them with the palm of my hand to knock them down into the bottle. This works great, and I have never had a bottle crack on me despite this dare devil maneuver.+ Colored Cap Options: Aquasana sells 6-packs of colored caps in a rainbow of colors on their website. For some strange reason, it doesn't appear that they sell them on Amazon, which puzzles me. Anyway, they are a very good price on the Aquasana website, if the standard caps don't float your boat.+ Fashion Forward: Yeah, I am a guy, but I try to be somewhat "with it". Carrying around a Nalgene, Camelbak, or other hideous water bottle makes me feel like a cheapo or a tree hugger, neither of which fits my persona. These bottles, on the other hand, are unique. Few people sport glass bottles. These are just funky enough to get the attention of others, without drawing attention like a mohawk at a funeral. OK, odd analogy, but that's the first thing that came to mind.+ Tight Seal, No Leaks: The caps have a rubber o-ring in them that seals tightly when you close the caps. I have never had a problem or concern about leaking water. I wait until all 6 of them are dirty in my sink before I wash them by hand all at once. I put them in a big bowl with a cover on it, add hot water and dish soap, and shake vigorously. I then rinse them off with clean water and let them dry. Entire process takes 5 minutes and I am good for another 6 days. I don't want to chance it by washing them in the dishwasher, where the o-rings could come loose or get dirty from food contact. So, is there anything I don't like about my Aquasana bottles? Well, there are just a couple of drawbacks:- Sometimes Tough-to-Grip Caps: They are incredibly smooth on the outside. Because the o-rings grip the top of the glass bottle tightly (keeping the liquid safely inside), it can sometimes be difficult to untighten the bottle cap. This is a minor drawback, but an old lady or weakling might object.- Branding on Bottle: I am a marketing guy. I get it. They want to market their products and build awareness by emblazoning their logo largely on the bottles. However, as a consumer, I would rather not have such bold branding on my bottles. They did have the decency to make the branding an etched-glass look, rather than in some loud color, but it is still unmistakable on the bottles. Again, not a huge deal, but it's kind of like the car dealer who puts the big decal on the truck lid. A little tacky. These bottles are an outstanding value and sure to please even the most finicky purchaser. I have recommended them to many people at my workplace.

Excellent!
I waited on this purchase until I could read sufficient reviews stating others were in love with them. Succumbing to peer pressure, I made the purchase and am so happy I did!Refilling disposable water bottles these days is impractical. They're made of cheap, flimsy plastic and most caps are all but missing they're so small. These Aquasana glass bottles fill a niche in the market that was void for very long. They're clear, beautiful and clean up easily with the OXO bottle brush! If they get stained, throw in a little oxiclean/water or baking soda/vinegar and they're sparkling again! We have filled them with freshly pressed vegetable juice, water and store bought fruit juice. We still have all 6 bottles. No cracks, lid staining...nothing! The lids stay put. They haven't leaked, not even a little. They fit nicely and discretely in a briefcase or cup-holder in the car. I still double and triple check to make sure the lid is on tightly and then turn them all over to be sure again! Paranoia --yes... but still no leaks! Very, very nice!I am thoroughly impressed with these and will purchase more in the future.Edit: There is a silicone "o" ring that I never knew existed until recently. I was washing up the caps and found a foreign item on my counter. After looking through several items, I finally discovered that it popped out of the Aquasana lids! Aha! They pop back in nicely too. However, whether that ring is in our out, the bottle still does not leak! :)

Durable, Great Quality, Packaged Well. Will buy again.
These bottles are awesome! I bought them and use them for bottling my home brewed kombucha. The caps are plastic with silicone seals so their perfect for this purpose. I saw people complaining about the glass not being perfect but it's thick and durable and in my opinion well worth the price. I actually intend to buy another pack! They come packaged nicely. I kept the box to store them in.

originally we always but the one use plastic water bottles to use at home, convenient and don't have to keep washing cups after every use.originally purchased only one pack of 6 first to try and use at home. These bottles seal great and almost the same size as the 500mL plastic bottles.Few days later i decided to buy another 6 pack and hoping i don't have to buy any more plastic bottles to use at home.

Perfectas
