36 Pieces 400 to 3000 Grit Sandpaper Assortment, Dry/ Wet, 9 x 3.6 Inch, for Automotive Sanding, Wood Furniture Finishing and Wood Turning Finishing

Great to get an assortment of sand papers. My application is autobody. I'm learning, so results are probably based on my lack of skill, but I was able to get a damn fine finish on a hood and the bedside of my pickup where there had been scratches. Actually, it was keyed (prior to my ownership) with profanity and not so nice symbols. I intend to sell the truck, so having readable graffiti was not an option. I was able to knock out most of the scratches well enough that instead of letters and symbols, it simply looks like there are a few scratches, which fit the rest of the truck. You can skip grits, but make sure to finish with 2500 or 3000 before moving to buffing.I used this paper wrapped around  3M 05526 Wetordry 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" x 3/8" Sponge Pad 20 , combined with these pads  6pc 6" Waffle Buffing Polishing Pad Set For Car Polisher Detail Polishing , on this backing plate  Astro 4606 6-Inch PU Velcro Backing Pad , with this compound  Meguiar's G17216 Ultimate Compound - 15.2 oz. , powered by this buffer  PORTER-CABLE 7424XP 6-Inch Variable-Speed Polisher , this detail spray  Garry Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice (16 oz) . If you search youtube, you'll find plenty of videos explaining the process in detail.

I'm happy with this sandpaper for the price. Everything arrived in good condition and seems to be what was described. I have only used one sheet so far to do a little wet sanding on plastic and it is working well. The only difference I see between this and more costly paper is that this seems to be sort of brittle paper. If you are careful it works well, but if you are doing a curved surface it can be hard to keep it from tearing as you go. It still works but it becomes allot more trouble when it breaks down obviously. Anyway, for the price I feel like its a pretty awesome package deal for people needing a variety of grits some project(s).

A great value on sand paper. There is also an excellent assortment here. I will be buying more. I have only used this on wood so cant talk about how it works on anything else. I can say though, on wood bowls I have made on my lathe this assortment of sandpaper is probably the best value that I have seen anywhere. It cuts well and doesn't clog if you know what your doing. Water can help clogging if you are sanding on the higher grits like 800 and up.

I bought this product because I needed the range of grit that these offer. Ive been putting off getting them for almost a year but finally broke down when I needed to hone and mirror shine a 10/22 trigger group. These worked perfectly.You get four sheets of each grit in this pack. I separated them into four piles when I got them and put three of the sets away so I would only use one set and not others by mistake.All in all, great product and easily deserves a five star rating.

It does the job! And is a good deal if you need a variety of sand paper grits. I've used it to wet sand paint repair work on my truck. It performed as good as any other brand I've tried. I will definitely purchase again in the future when I need more sandpaper.

- Worked perfectly for my purposes - polishing pinewood derby axles to a mirror finish - helped my kid win first place- Would've paid just as much for a set of 4 finished axles alone- With 3000 grit no real need for polishing compound - looks like mirror finish to me- Plenty of pieces so will last a LONG time for my needs - cut small strips for this project- I did NOT receive this for free/discount just to review

UPDATE: The seller has since contacted me and remediated my concerns. Happy with the results. Bear in mind though that this paper, when wet, will curl. There are more premium brands that will not but, you'll pay a higher price for them. in most cases, curled edges is fine except when trying to lay them on a flat, true surface. In that case, you may need a spray adhesive.

Its ok. Not great. But does have every grit needed. Does not hold up well but for someone needing all the grits for a few projects and not wanting to pay for expencive stuff its ok.

Yeah I mean... They're bits of sandpaper! They grip right, smell right and they work well with water. Could be a bit bigger tbh, I imagine there's a massive margin on these, and they probably cost 50p to make!But I needed them tomorrow and they arrived tomorrow as always with Prime.I bought these to polish up my aging headlights, and they did the job perfectly (300 wasn't fine enough to finish with - toothpaste and rotating buffing wheel for that) but the higher grade papers lost their sharpness very quickly and were just basically paper.

An excellent range of grits. Decent thickness of backing paper, easily strong enough to use for wet sanding. I used them to refubish some car headlights, starting at 400 grit and working all the way up to 3000. It was quick and easy, with excellent results. The range of grits are ideal as each step up can readily remove the marks from the previous. A good set.

Excellent value for money. Cleaned my headlights with various grades and then used one of those specialist products to finish and seal. Lots of other uses. Great quality.

cheap effective sandpaper. i used it to do some finishing work to a repainted car panel and it came out looking factory new. very happy with the results thanks to this paper and none of it fell to bits while using.

Brilliant product, used for sharpening chisels and wood plane blades, garden shears, etc. I can now shave with my chisels!
