the pump was delivered with a broken 1.5 inch, broken in threads and pump was frozen when plugged in to powerand caused me a lot of trouble with my client.

Very glad to find this unit remained on market. I just purchased one about 9 months ago. I originally bought an identical system over 20 years ago to serve our clothes washer in basement. One time I had to service the pump - can't quite remember what component I replaced but it was an cheap/easy fix. Screen clean-out is easy to access to remove lint that finds its way to pump. I don't think all combo units have a screen for this but it is a good thing - I'm sure lint build-up will diminish pump life without it. Just remember to periodically coat the 4 retainer bolts that secure access plate to tank with lubricant. Previously, mine started to corrode and became very difficult to remove in time.

Product arrived in timely fashion, my plumber found easy to install , however had a huge crack at the bottom which appeared soon after installation. I believe from not being handled properly. I worked all right except for leaking trough the crack/hole. It was easy enough to return the item and I re ordered it. Fingers crossed the new one won't be defective.

Was very easy to install and came with several PVC pipes/adapters to make installation even easier. It is relatively quiet and even has an easy to access (unscrew) plate to clean the filter. Having a lot of muck from our washing machine is what killed our old pump, so having a filter AND being able to clean it should hopefully extend the life of this one.

I had already purchased a laundry pump from Menards for $169. The problem is that it never completely removed all the water from my tub. There was always a couple of inches of water sitting in the bottom of my tub. I didn't like to use the tub for other purposes. Now it totally drains out. I wish I would have purchased this one first. Could have saved me (and my contractor) lots of time and money.

We had a similar device in our basement that that pumped the output of our washer up to sewer drain level. That device died. The new device came assembled and was relatively easy to install with little plumbing work. We've had it now for a few months and no complaints.

it had tinee leak in the tank I patched the leak and it fixed the problem.

Bought it used - like new and saved a lot. Working perfectly so far.

I purchased this pump because of all of the great reviews I found online, and the name-brand seemed to inspire some confidence. When the package arrived at my door, I opened it up to find the bottom of the tank had completely shattered. Ok, accidents happen and maybe this was poorly handled in shipping. I contacted Amazon who then sent me a new one right away.The second pump arrives at my door. The tank is still intact, but I hear something rattling inside. I pull off the cover and find that the tube that connects the pump to the cover has cracked at the threads where it goes into the pump. Crap. I figure this issue is caused by the heavy steel pump not being sufficiently supported within the tank. When it receives a bump or jolt, the pump doesn't have enough support and simply breaks the plastic casing/tube. Time for another replacement from Amazon.Fast forward a few more weeks and I am currently on my FOURTH pump. The material chosen for the tanks was a very poor design choice. It is extremely brittle and cracks very easily.Having said that, the pump itself performs very well and I'm pleased with how it removes water. I just wish I didn't have to go through so many of them before it showed up in one piece.I am also extremely pleased with how Amazon has handled this situation. They were very prompt with sending a replacement and treated me very well. Although it was a frustrating experience with a lot of back and forth to the post office, I am ultimately a satisfied customer.
