I left a similar review on the Open Door hinged enclosure door as well...I decided to upgrade my existing 20” home networking cabinet that was overflowing with wires. The pictures show you what it all looked like after taking the old one out (epic rat’s nest). Most enclosures I researched were unbelievably overpriced for a metal box (see Leviton). I figured there had to be a better alternative.Enter Open Door (bad pun). Reasonably priced enclosure, and though it didn’t come with a hinged door included, the separately sold plastic door with magnetic latch worked perfectly. The door is constructed of a solid plastic and has a magnetic latch that stays closed and allows for easy opening. The door also has a slight convex shape which gives the enclosure some additional depth at the front. Even without the convex shape, there is plenty of space inside the enclosure for all of my equipment, even when I probably installed it inefficiently given my inexperience. If I had one comment, it’s that I couldn’t fit a single gang electrical box into the electrical punch out, but it’s possible I was just doing it wrong.In all, I’d highly recommend the Open Door enclosure and plastic hinged door to other residential DIYers.

then you need a distro panel...make all your home run connections just like a ac fuse panel(breakers)...look like a pro..and send your next cable guy to the right area...to make future connections..p.s, leave your wireless router/modem outside of this panel..its metal....you'll thank me later...

Awesome enclosure.

The inside depth is only 3.5 inches even though in the production dimensions show 4.8 inches. Overall it looks like a good product, and I will find a different use for it, just not the one I intended.

I always use these enclosures when doing a structure wire installation. Great value, and everything arrived complete and in great condition.
