Really nice nails. I bought 2 sizes
Really nice nails. I bought 2 sizes. Truly hand forged so each one is different. Beautifully made. Very unique and gives exactly the rustic look I wanted. Good finish that is durable. Mechanically Strong. As mentioned before, for best results pre-drill a half size pilot hole; if using in very hard wood (eg maple), consider a bigger pilot and softer hammer for hard blows on the finish (I used a steel hammer with a leather head cover out of caution, which worked great; no idea if uncovered hammer would blemish these) Only complaint is that the shafts on some vary in thickness and I worry about slippage over time, but these are handmade and I would be more disappointed if the shafts were machine perfect. Plan to reinforce with invisible (behind panel) screw if it does slip, but rock steady for 3 weeks now. Will buy again as needed. Thanks!!Heres a pic of the 2 inch nails by a ruler for head size.

Great antique look!
These are excellent for vintage or antiquing projects. I recently installed a pallet accent wall for hanging my cast iron skillets and cookware. They have a very old, hand forged look and are the perfect finishing touch to my project.I ordered these twice. The second order had a small issue that was immediately replied to and corrected. The customer service is outstanding!

I love these and these folks. I use them for holding the cord of three strands in wedding signs.

USE PILOT HOLES
Nice old looking nails. I would suggest you use a strip of wood to use between the hammer and the nail. Also drill pilot holes. you do not want to damage the nail. It might change its look. Cause they do not have flat heads, just hitting it in hard, would be a problem. If your going to hit it hard, think about a ball pean hammer, the mark would not look so bad.

Worked great!
We bought these to tack up a treasure map in my son's pirate themed bedroom. They worked great. They have an old look to them so it made the look even more believable.
