Sorry, a bit disappointed ...
Ok, I soon understood that this lady was not a through walker. No problem. This makes sense. However, I had expected a bit more in-depth. Sorry, but after a while I gave up. Repetition after repetition. Describing the paths, the scenery, the flowers, the nice and helpful people --- on and on and on. Possibly, a map about the respective section she was walking and some pictures of the respective sceneries in each chapter would have helped. The same accounts for some personal reflections and meetings instead of mentioning names after names of other hikers. ...

Inspirational Hiking, courageous and delightful, never to old to take that first step!
I’ve become obsessed with hiking trails and Medicare Pastor has really opened the gates and reality to what it takes to achieve walking trails especially as a senior, she has away of writing that I had captured my full attention and i don’t want the adventures to end!🥾🌄

Highly recommended.
While I found the book a little too detailed in some chapters, I was fascinated by this account and full of admiration for the author.

With Medicare Pastor. This book is a treat to read with detailed descriptions of three great long hikes including flowers, lakes, mountains and humans with unique trail names. More importantly, it includes insights into aging, living to the fullest, and friendships.

I am turning 60 this year. Mary's book showed me that my hiking days are not over and many more adventures are possible. Age alone does not determine what you are capable of.
