Just a whistle, nothing special.
This is basically a two tubed metal whistle. As a whistle it works fine but I wouldn't call the sound appealing for traing wild birds, which is what I wanted it for.I've trained a number of Robins to feed from my hand and to come to me when I whistleHowever on certain days, my whistling doesn't sound great, so I purchased this item, thinking it was designed for birds, in the it might sound bird like.It does not. It sounds like a standard whistle. It might be suitable for a training aid for dogs or large domestic birds, but no more than any old whistle.I used it once in front of my garden birds, and they almost all flew off.Apart from that, it appears well made and easy to carry due to the key ring.I'm going to award 3 stars, as I feel the marketing should be clearer, that this is just a normal whistle that can be used as an animal testing aid.

Try looking for an Audubon Bird Caller if you want a bird sound,
Not cheap but the youtube clips, make it look like the item your looking for.

Great compared to the others
Great item very happy with it would recommend I use it to train a pigeon and it's doing the job greatly unfortunately i lost the whistle and i was devastated so i order 2 more of another seller which were cheaper but once they arrived just by the feel u could tell they nowhere near as good and wasnt loud so I was really worried the pigeon is missing out on its trainning luckily I found the old whistle the whistle on the left Is this one and the 2 on the right are the cheaper ones I bought which I dont recommend I'm gonna be buying some more of these as spares
