MonteverdeFine Point Capless Gel Refill for Parker Ballpoint Pens - Red (Pack of 2)

My Monteverde pen with a blue gel refill writes beautifully so I didn't hesitate to buy these red gel refills.They give a nice clear red line and the ink-flow is just as it should BUT they don't feel right. It is almost as is the 'ball' is coarsely textured rather than round and smooth. The line the ink leaves is absolutely fine but it doesn't 'feel' as if it would be, it just feels odd. I find it difficult to believe these refills came from the same factory as my blue one.Another way to explain the feel is: When you draw a line with an old ball-pen that is drying out, you don't have to look at the line to know there is a problem, you can feel it straight away by the coarseness of the ball. You know instinctively that the ink isn't flowing properly. It feels a bit like that except that the ink IS flowing.

This is a perfect replacement for my Parker pen. After reading the reviews I was a bit sceptical as to how they would be, but they are just perfect for the job. Arrived in less than 24 hours, and fit perfectly to my Parker rollerball pen. They write lovely and I love the red and purple as you can hardly get any other colour than black or blue normally! Would highly recommend and will definitely buy again.

Its not gel ink

Was a bit dubious about buying other make refills for my beloved parker pens. These are great and cheaper than the parker refills. I have switched to the gel inks as they are much nicer to write with. These also come in a array of different colours. Recommended

These refils do NOT fit Parker Jotter pens so sadly a total waste of money
