I finally bought the right mop
I am a CNA/MedTech; I work in nursing homes for the past 8 months. I see the cleaning crew using a flat mop to clean the floors, and I've been wanting to try one. I bought a super cheap one, and was quickly disappointed. I had to return it. I shopped and debated and finally settled on this mop. I just got it today and used it this evening. I am not disappointed. The handle is not thin and cheap; I have no fear of bending or breaking this handle. The mop pads are thick and absorbent. I rinsed it under hot water and wrung it out. I already have a hard floor spray cleaner, so i used that with the damp mop. It works beautifully!! I have terrazzo floors throughout my house (needs to be resurfaced), and this mop takes the surface dirt right off with very little effort,. I have been trying, for the last 3 years since we moved into this house, to figure out how to clean these floors - well- this mop is the answer for me. I appreciate that it comes with 2 extra mop pads as well. This mop is so simple, that i know my teenagers can use it.Sponge mops didn't work for me. String mops didn't work for me. And the swiffer mops didn't work well enough for me (plus the cost of refills).I'm so pleased with myself for taking a chance on this one. I appreciate the price was affardable as well.Seriously, if you're wimbling over mops because you just aren't sure about the handle- this is the one. Unless you're a brute and you tend to break everything no matter what. Even so...this one will survive.I was quite surprised at how tall the handle is. I think it's taller than me (5'6"). It has a good long reach, and swivles nicely. :)

Good tool for cleaning in these times.
Need some additional cleaning pads. I do not know from where to get.

It’s like a Swiffer on steroids
I have been using a Shark steam mop for about 10 years but I was getting tired of having to put the pad on which didn’t fit properly and the velcro was worn out, then having to carefully fill the water reservoir and then wait for the mop to heat up to start mopping, plus having to deal with a cord. I finally decided it was time for a change. I thought I wanted one of those cool spin mops but after reading lots of reviews on different types of mops, I decided to try this one. I LOVE IT!!! It’s like a Swiffer but more sturdy, longer handle, larger cleaning head, the pads are reusable and you can use any kind of floor cleaner you like with it. I also have a Swiffer Wet Jet but I was tired of buying the expensive pads and cleaning solution - plus it uses batteries. Not to mention it doesn’t clean very well. Here’s everything I love about this new mop:• Long, sturdy handle• Large cleaning head• 3 machine washable pads• Easy to put on and remove the pads• Can use any kind of floor cleaner (I diluted some Pine-Sol in an empty spray bottle and just spray as I go. Smells wonderful!)• Easy to maneuver under and around cabinets and furniture• You can easily turn it on it’s side to get the grout lines in between tiles if necessary• Has a hook for hangingWhat I don’t like:• Nothing! However, be careful if you mop barefooted or wearing open toe slippers. I swiped my pinky toe with the corner of this thing and thought I’d ripped my toe off! 😂

Works great if you want to use your own cleaning cloths
This review is for the mop assembly itself since I haven't actually used the mop cloths yet. I was looking for something very specific when I purchased this. I have two bags large bags worth of cheap microfiber cleaning cloths that I bought years ago from Costco that I use for cleaning everything around the house. They are cheap, reusable, they save on paper towel waste, and they can be machine washed in large loads. The head on this mop grips the mop pads using gripper teeth rather than velcro at the bottom. Which means I'm not restricted to only using certain mop pads, I can use any cloth of sufficient size. Furthermore, the mop head and the shaft are made of aluminum, not plastic, and are very sturdy. The mop itself can be extended or shortened in length via removable shaft sections. It did a great job on my hardwood floor using my own microfiber cloths and Bona spray hardwood floor cleaner. I'm able to do a first pass clean until the first cloth is dirty, then easily swap in clean cloth for a second or even third pass.

Love this mop because of clips and no velcro which wears out!
I am an obsessive clean freak with kids and dogs and I have tried every mop out there including all the professional ones and steam. I have a huge house so the swiffer and other disposable or little mops are not an option plus I don't want toxic chemicals. I would be cleaning for a month straight using swiffer anyway and it would cost probably $100 of pads every time! Steamers also take days to clean the floor too much surface area plus also have to get gazillion pads for those which are not cheap and my professional steam machine is too much work and I also don't trust it with my wood floors. I use my professional steamer on tile once in a while to sanitize only. So I am stuck with these types of mops so again I tried them ALL! I vacuum first then damp mop with water and soap solution. I have the 18" professional mop thats great but for all those mops they work by velcro attachment and the material on the pads that sticks to the velcro on mop wears out very fast because I wash them on sanitary with bleach so I ruin the pads fast! Also I don't clean like most people do where you take the mop pad and wet in bucket with soap solution (I use Bona or other natural soaps like Dr Bronners) then you mop and then put the dirty one back in the same water and keep doing that. What I do is buy like 30 of those pads (or more) and I make a bucket with soap solution and put some in there (add more as needed so thats why I have so many) then I take out one at a time mop an area and then put that pad into a plastic garbage bag and take another clean one from the bucket and I keep doing that so my bucket water stays clean, no dirty pads ever go back in there, and then by the end of the cleaning I have a garbage bag full of dirty mop heads that I then wash in washing machine. This way also you are not just spreading around dirty mop water like the old fashion mopping. If you are to do that might as well not mop at all because you are not really cleaning just spreading germs and dirt around! So what I love about this mop is the clips! Theres no other like this I found. Also some others have the frame with all these holes or are flexible even just a frame with nothing in the middle and theres not a good contact with mop pad and the floor. It needs to be solid and rigid so every part of the pad has tight contact with the floor otherwise it doesn't clean well. Plus the clips I mentioned there is no velcro to wear out on the pads and also I am able to use other pads I have left from other mops or I just put two of the microfiber towels so its thicker and clip those. I can even use the pads that are skinner and longer from other mops that don't wrap like this pad and I clip them at the left and right ends of the mop with the edges of the clips and they still work. So I am using up all those pads that I could not use with my other mops because the material on the pads that sticks to velcro on mop wore out! Or again like I said I use the towels which may be a good option for someone who does not want to invest in the pads for this mop since they are a little pricey. But they are great because they are really thick. So unless you are really rough and break the clips it seems like this mop will not only last but you can use with many different pads and the pads will last longer or you can use the microfiber towels just double them up so its thicker for better floor to towel contact and better cleaning.
