The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for my husband as a gift and he LOVES it! He started using it right away! I just love the leather smell and it's very well made! The pages are nice and thick so you don't have to worry about bleed through while Journaling, drawing or even painting. Now, I want one for myself! I love that they include a picture of who made it with a little background information too. 100% will but from them again. Only thing is I wish they did other scriptures too!

A beautiful, well-made journal. Sturdy leather cover and binding; these pages won't come out easily. The paper is heavy, conducive to fountain pen and water colors. I've looked for one like this for years. This is just lovely. I also appreciated the photo of the man who made my journal, Jayanto Buarman. Thank you; you do lovely work.

I bought this for my godmother for Christmas, and we did gift opening all together in the living room. My elderly godparents and their friends were intrigued and my godmother was delighted! The vintage paper and material was so beautiful. Their reactions were so precious and I would've paid twice the cost because their reaction was so worth it.

Where are,well made ...don't smell like dead water buffalo and the colors don't run. The hand made deckle edge all cotton paper is the special touch. These lie flat to make drawing, painting and journaling super easy? I've bought 6 and will buy more!

I've purchased 4 journals from Leather Village and have been extremely happy with them all. I've used other journals, and even found another brand I really like, but then I discovered Leather Village journals and I'm hooked. This one, in the "chalkboard" finish is really cool, probably just because the grayish pages are more unique to me than the usual sepia. The cover is thick without being too stiff to keep the journal open. The embossing is perfectly done and perfectly centered, exactly as pictured. I write regularly and have found that I don't care for the way a standard rollerball (water based ink) cartridge writes on this type of paper, but I typically use gel ink and it flows and dries very well on these pages. The recycled cotton paper is thick and the deckling gives it a classic old world vibe. The pages are even thick enough to use for watercolor if you wish to use them for that.

This journal is actually HANDMADE. It was a Christmas present for me. It's absolutely incredible !! There is a card within the journal that tells you who he is, which makes it even more spectacular. Gorgeous absolutely gorgeous!!!
