It forms a great, strong bond between the nail and your polish, it really makes polish last longer. I don't really know if it hydrates the nail or not, but it seems to me I get less breakage, although that may be because my polish stays on better and longer and lends strength to my nails. This product is a miracle for keeping my nails from breaking HOWEVER, any time that I put anything else on with it, it will not dry...It doesn't work with any other products and I cannot have bare nails. It makes me feel naked, so this is completely useless to me. If I put a fast dry top coat over everything, it does dry... sometimes, but it takes forever... and sometimes the top layers dry but the actual nailtek coat at the bottom does not, so everything slides off in a goopy mess.Even when it does dry, there are bubbles...So, if you are okay with not wearing colored polish, this is a miracle product, but if you're like me and you have your nails painted all of the time... know that this product does NOT play nicely with others.

Ordered 2 BottlesOne was perfect and as should beOne was sticky when applied and did not dry until 24 hours. Nails were not smooth but grainy when it finally dried.Not eligible for return. So why was it sent??

Every time I go to Europe I end up with dry and peeling nails. I tried several different treatments, and this one seems to work best. It restores the nails and makes them look very healthy.

Been using this for years. Nails get so brittle in winter, they break and are sharp as razors. This hydrates them and keeps them healthy through the winter. But healthy for nails all year through.
