The Old Farmer's Almanac Heirloom Romaine Lettuce Seeds (Parris Island Cos) - Approx 1800 Seeds - Non-GMO, Open Pollinated, USA Origin

Each year i start lettuces indoors for winter eating. Thought I would try the old farmers almanac seeds and to my surprise they germinated very quickly, and appears each seed as well. i also received them next day. I have good luck with all seeds that I have bought here on Amazon. Very pleased.

We had no problem planting or getting harvest from these seeds this year

Planted these in a railing box on my back porch and enjoyed fresh Romaine for most of the summer.,

The ones that did germinate were good but germinate rate was low.

I LOVE Romain lettuce but do not love to buy lettuce from the grocery store because I have no clue where it comes from. These seeds grow SO fast and flavorful, I grow them in a hydroponic and again they grow so fast I can expect a big fresh salad within 2 weeks of planting! It comes with plenty of seeds to keep me trough the year! I plan to plant them outside these season but don't really have any worries they grow so well!

I planted about a month ago, replanted 2 weeks ago.... good soil.... nothing😔. And I paid a huge amount $$$. For it... then shipping. $8.99. 3 x the price of other seeds... then they won’t even germinate??? Makes me sick to think about!I haven’t had any issues with the rest of my garden???Update:: a friend of mine, told me how to check to see if any would germinate... paper towel... sprites with a bit of peroxide and water, not soaked, So I put over 35 seeds on it ..... 4 days later 6 seeds have sprouted 😊Hopefully more will!!! So at least the batch I have is about 15 -20% success rate... better then 0%. I will replant in about 3 days... hopefully I’ll get yield this season😬🥺
