For me this fashionable pair of shoes fit a bit larger than I had expected. I wear 10.5 but when it arrived I wish I had gotten the 10 as I know it would've been the perfect size but I'm still happy with them. I just stuffed the extra space and everything was ok. I must say they're a great buy and of good quality and style. A must have in your collection for sure.

I really like them except the heel is now worn out after a month's wear.I have owned this pair of shoes 5 weeks and the Heel is coming apart.The heel is very fragile. It seems that the hard inner heel of the shoe is covered with a "skin" of rubber coating the heel underneath.I received theses shoes around April 17, 2018. Today is May 25, 2018, just over a month and the heel is showing severe wear. The picture below shows how the rubber skin Llawon the heel is peeling after a month's wear.Is the BUSH NUNN NOT WILLING TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT ?DEFINITELY WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM BUSH NUNN AGAIN ! The funny thing is, I bought 2 pair. The burgundy and the black, same size just a different color, however, the burgundy is way too large (by at least a half inch around) whereas the black pair was a perfect fit, lol. Thing is, I only tried the black pair on thinking, OK, same shoe, same size, just a different color. Yes, this was my first time buying dress shoes from Amazon and I think it's going to be my last also.

I have gone through three pairs of these shoes, so I have gotten to know them pretty well. First the good stuff: the shoes are pretty much true to size. That is, they at least match the sizes that I have in other brands. The leather tops are good quality, the staining/color is consistent and I have never had any problem with the stitching. Now the downside. The rubber soles are very poor quality. They are very soft and wear completely through in 6 months. My first thought was that this was an abnormality or a lot number issue and thus I reordered not once but twice. (I guess that I'm a slow learner) The kicker is that despite the fact that the tops are in great shape, you have to throw them away in 6 months because the soft rubber soles cannot be "half soled" to extend the life of the shoes. I finally realized that this was a losing battle and went to another brand with a real leather sole. I suggest that unless you don't care about lifespan, you will be better served with another product, even if it is a few dollars more.

This shoe looks good cosmetically and appears well made, inside and out. I appreciate the good fit, right out of the box. These shoes needed no break-in before being worn all day. The gel heel is a nice feature--it's more comfortable than a conventional felt-padded heel insole. I was surprised however at how thin the sole of the shoe is. It appears to be one piece, rather than a traditional two-piece design. Due to its thinness, it transmits irregular surfaces, unlike other tassled loafers that I've owned (Bass, Boston, etc.). Since these are dress shoes occasionally worn over gravel, etc. surfaces, I'm hoping this will not be too much of a problem. Another reviewer observed that these are not capable of being resoled. I think they probably can be, but with an oversole rather than conventional removal/replacement due to their single element sole design.

I ordered 9.5 wide, and the minute I took these out of the box I knew they were going to be both too small and too narrow. But I tried them on, and to my total amazement, they fit perfectly. I took a huge chance and wore them to work for a full 10-hour day with no other shoes to change into if I had a problem, and I'm happy to report they were extremely comfortable all day. They fit well right out of the box; nicely made, beautiful finish, and 100% satisfied. Never bought this brand before, but will certainly do so again.

I order these shoes in my regular size and the first shipment received was just a little bit too loose. I returned them for a 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfect. There was no problem returning the first pair of shoes via UPS and the second replacement shoes came within the next two days after contacting Amazon. These shoes are very stylish and a classic look that never goes out of style.

This shoe felt good and looks great. On my feet, even though I ordered the recommended size, the shoes both slipped slot on my heels. The cushion insole feels real good but I just couldn't keep them on. I have returned them. I'm going to try a half size shorter with hopes they're going to work. I gave them a 4 star anyhow based on the overall comfort.

It seems as though the size conversion from U.K. To US size wasn't correct. Although very good looking shoes they were much to big

The Good: Nice looking shoe if a tad plastic looking, length of both is fineThe Not so Good: Didn't realize it was not a genuine leather upperThe Bad: Right shoe width is ok although I don't think I'd be able to wear for any length of time, left shoe is way too tight in width can't wear.Removing the inner comfort soles allows for a better fit in width however your left with two small metal studs in each foot pressing against the sole of your foot plus there is no cushioning.All in all I wouldn't recommend buying these because of the anomalies and to be honest you shouldn't have to make compromises to make the shoe fit for purpose.These are the 2nd pair of loafer shoes I've had arrive via Amazon this week that have proven to be disappointing, sadly I think I'll return both these and the Cole Hahn loafers which also had issues.

Nunn & Bush have outdone themselves on this item. I take a 10 M and was worried they might not fit correctly once I was able to try them on. I've previously ordered other, more expensive brands of shoes, which were not true to size, usually too small and so tight I could not even get them on with a shoe horn. No such concerns with this excellent product from Nunn & Bush. A exceptionally classy shoe which looks much more expensive than what I paid for them.
