Strong - tricky placement
Super nice recessed lock. A little tricky on placement but once you get it. It holds very well. I have 2 running off 1 12v power supply.

It works great when testing it on the bench. But I had it attached to a door and with a light push (one finger push) the door opens.

Works As Described
Received product exactly as shown. I installed on a metal gate and works well - impossible to open when powered on. For the price I am pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Simple and Effective
Works very well. Contact plate MUST be directly against magnet - otherwise it will not grip. Other than that, the gripping force is excellent! Seems very well made.

Very short pull distance. Chinese instructions.
I’m only getting pull from within 1/8-inch or closer with this 350lb unit. Once it finally makes contact it is very strong, but I was hoping this would be able to pull the door fully shut from 1/2 to 3/4-inch away. I may try the stronger 600 lb unit...but I liked that this could be flush mounted inside the door frame. All instructions were in Chinese.
