I liked the carving on the outside because I wanted something different, the box will be used for storing a set of handmade runes so needed a box that would make them at home in ha and this box does it, great carving and on the inside a nice red material that will help protect them when being carried plus it will keep the runes good (take too long to explain, its to do with rune power ), so I am proud to have purchased such a great box.

I like this pretty box. It’s not the most sturdy but with care will last a good while. Nice velvet lined. Good for jewellery etc. Looks good.

Beautifully carved

ProsHeavy, feels more expensive than it actually is, looks good for the price, plenty of storage room for jewelry however I have been using it as a stash box, decent red suede/velvet fabric lining.ConsHinges are a little flimsy but strong enough that repeated opening/closing will be fine as long as you don't swing it open. Would recommend just closing the hinges slightly with pliers.Brass pins on corners a little uneven but again, value for money and it adds a certain character for me personally.Carving is alright but can certainly see the human touch of it which endears it to me a bit as i cant imagine any one of these is the same.OverallCan't go wrong if you're after a cheap robust box to keep things in, has a hole and catch for a lock however I think if someone wanted to get into it they could pull it open regardless with some force.Reasonably well put together, would benefit from stronger hinges, i have bought a set of universal rubber stick on feet as the bottom is very smooth and could quite easily slide on a smooth surface. Will definitely be buying one again if the current one ever breaks for whatever reason.

This is a beautifully made box & lovely to look at. It has a red velour lining inside. I am very happy with it.

I like this box with its design and robust feel. The clasp and hinges are a little on the thin side. The felt lining is attractive and seems to be hard wearing. This made a great present, and was nicely packaged in a printed decorative card sleeve.

Das Kästchen ist schnell und gut verpackt geliefert worden.Es ist für mich wertvoll,weil es echte Handarbeit ist und das ist schon was besonderes. Es ist ein Geschenk ,in dem besondere Kleinode zu einem 50 jährigen Geburtstag verpackt werden.Dieses Kästchen sieht auch noch richtig gut aus.Ich kann diesen Artikel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ho comprato il portagioie da 8x5 pollici con decorazione "Occhio Floreale Patti". Il prodotto è esattamente come si vede nelle foto, curato nei dettagli. Vi sono alcune normali "imperfezioni" che lo rendono ancora più bello e che suggeriscono sia stato intagliato davvero a mano o comunque realizzato da mani esperte. All'interno, su ambedue le facce, è presente un sottile strato di materiale simile al velluto, di colore rosso e molto gradevole al tatto. La chiusura e l'apertura sono precise e senza scalini o allentamenti. Pienamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto!
