An excellent text
This textbook was such a great complement to the course I took in Graph Theory. Everything is explained beautifully, from simple things such as definitions of elementary terms to subjects more complex such as the coloring theorems of Vizing and Shannon. Proofs accompany nearly all theorems/conjectures in the book, and they are done in a clear and concise manner. What I also found particularly interesting were the various historical pieces that the authors added to the book. They are not only interesting but they serve as a nice break between sections of purely technical content. This is a great text to have on hand for an introductory course and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for such a text.
