Coffee People Donut Shop Medium Roast Extra Bold, 18-Count/0.39oz. K-Cups for Keurig Brewers

A few drawbacks:1. The K-cups are thrown into a cardboard box (as opposed to the typical branded packaging you would see) not a deal breaker, but a bit odd2. There are a few visible stains on the individual k-cups (looks like one of the k cups was punctured and leaked coffee grinds on the rest of them) again, not a deal breaker, but something I haven't witnessed beforeand,3. The K-cups are clearly labeled "THIS UNIT IS NOT FOR RETAIL SALE" in black ink on the front of the K-cup (it's written on the outer ring in bold black ink, something that isn't represented in the product picture)...as for this one, I'll leave it up to you, but it kind of broke the deal for me. I'm sure the K-cups are fine and all but the oddities do add up for me, too many things I wouldn't see on a normal box of k-cups to be wholly comfortable with the purchase...hopefully it's just a minor slip as the product in general does have good reviews!

The Donut Shop K-Cup is a perfect everyday / anytime blend. I have a Keurig B-31 Mini Plus and the Donut Shop Medium Roast Extra Bold K-Cup brews consistently bold flavored coffee which is very satisfying. The flavor / caffeine balance is just right for me. Strong enough to give you a bit of a boost without the jitters. Recommended!Here is a 7/6/15 updated review: NEVER purchase this K-Cup variety from seller Boho Tronics. I purchased this Donut Shop Product from them but I received a K-Cup Pack of (18) marked "Authentic Donut Shop Blend, Original Roast" instead. The true item is actually my favorite K-Cup, but what I received from Boho Tronics is total crap (and not eligible for return). Packaged with both English and French labeling in light blue foil and boxed unlike the photo posted here. I have NO idea what is actually inside Boko's K-Cups, but it is definitely NOT THIS original Donut Shop K-Cup coffee! I'm tossing the remaining (17) K-Cups from Boko into the garbage where they belong.

I have had a hard time finding K-cups that actually taste good in a Keurig. I have found that for me, the "6 oz" setting produces a more full-flavored coffee, but for some roasts, if it is darker and if the quantity of grounds in the K-cup is greater (11g and up), I can get away with the "8 oz" setting. The Keurig just brews too fast for a rich flavor.That being said, these K-cups have a medium roast flavor and have more grounds in the cups, so they actually taste better than many others.I retested a Melitta "pour over" brew the other day with K-cups I cut open and poured out, and that extra brewing/steeping time really makes a huge difference in richness and fullness of flavor. But the Keurig has the advantage of speed and convenience, though.

This is just good coffee. I think this is a great coffee, medium taste & strength. I am one of those people that actually do read others review's and I will try to give others my honest opinion in my review. I am not a big coffee coinsurer, but I enjoy the taste of this coffee. I drink this coffee on the weekends and anytime I need a little caffeine pick-me up.

Makes a nice solid cup of coffee. Hits the sweet spot between light and dark blends, trending towards the darker. If I had to compare it to something, I would say it nicely matches Caribou coffee's Caribou Blend or their Sumatra. I intend to get more of this. Perfect for the first cup of the day.

This is a good coffee for sipping on late in the morning. For me, it's a bit stout for that first cup early in the day. It leaves a little bitter after taste, but has a good aroma. It's good for those who like their coffee a touch to the strong side, or when you want to sit and slowly sip a cup later in the day.

I have had my Keriug for about 2 years and I love it. I like to try all types of k-cups. This was a good one, nice flavor and aroma. I would have to say my favorite of all the k-cups I have tried is caribou. But this Donut shop was good too.

The MEDIUM roast with a bold bean is what makes it perfect every time. No bitterness or bite, just strong flavor. As a rule, I don't drink decaf, but I drink this decaf, as well as the regular, every day. We get compliments from friends and family. I wish they made a hot chocolate .
