Japanese Hot Spring Bath Powders - 1.05 Ounce (Pack of 18)

At the time of my purchase, I spent about 80 cents per pack. I've tried some of the various cheap bath bombs on Amazon, and they were always a bit disappointing, and yet they were still significantly more expensive than these Japanese salt packs. These look, feel, and smell amazing, and they're by far the best bang for your buck option for nice baths. I try to treat myself to a couple long baths a week, and I don't have the kind of money to be buying $20+ bath bombs from bougie stores at malls. The variety of fragrances within this pack are all very pleasant. I only get the "detergent" type smell some people report when I smell the salts from the pack, but after it's poured and mixed into a bath, it doesn't smell artifical and chemicaly like a detergent. The "musk" smell others also report is more of a dew-y woods-y smell, like the kind you'd get hiking in the woods in the morning. This note turns the floral scents more androgynous, and most men and women would be perfectly fine with these scents. These fragrances do tend to linger on your body for the rest of the day, which is yet another thing I never got from cheap bath bombs. I'm really amazed how cheaply these are available in America, and I'll be using these regularly from now on.For a typical sized bath, one package is plenty for a strong effect. If you're rich and have a bath the size of a hot tub, you may need to use 2 packets for a good effect.The one downside I will mention is that the box these come in is very thin cardboard. If you purchase these on their own, they will likely come in a mailer package and will be banged up. I ordered another item alongside this, so they both arrived in an actual cardboard box with the air bubble packaging, preventing any damage to the salts box. Just something to consider if you're trying to keep these pristine for a gift.

I like to soak in the tub a few days a week so was looking for a lower cost alternative to the $6-9 per sea salt packet/bath bomb I’ve been paying.When I first opened the packets I thought the scent was much too strong - I actually contemplated tossing them in the trash. But, I tried one out and - once in the water - the scent is much more pleasant yet still noticeable and lasting. From some reviews, I expected the water to look like I dumped in a vat of dye, but it’s actually a very soft and pleasant color (only tried the blue so far…will report back if the other colors are a different experience).Granted, these aren’t as luxurious as a bomb from Lush and they don’t really soften your skin but they are a nice option at a much lower price point. Also, the box isn’t very sturdy and it ships in a bag so doesn’t exactly arrive in gift ready condition (though the individual packets are lovely). I will purchase again!

Everyone in the reviews saying this smells like laundry detergent: They are right. But jokes on them, I love that smell. I have a regular sized tub and one packet does really well. The water turns pretty opaque too which I like. The fragrances vary by packet but I would say they are all a little "detergent"-like in their own way. It is not super strong for me once it dilutes, but I would say if you are sensitive to strong fragrances, maybe skip this one.

My skin seems to react to epsom salts but I wanted to scent my bath water. I used to use oil - but the residue left in the tub was annoying - so was looking for a salt.I've had it for a while but only used two packets. When I try the last 2 scents I might update my review.4 scents for 4 different hot spring resorts in JapanYakushima (green) - forest and musk. I love the natural forest scent, but musk is not my favorite. That being said it's a VERY mild musk scent and honestly kinda pleasant. It dilutes when mixed in water. Would be a great "male demographic scent" for someone who prefers scents of products advertised at men.Tazawa (blue color) - floral musk. Very sweet. Stronger than Ginzan and Yakushima scents. You could actually really smell this one even after it diluted in the water. The smell lingers on my skin unlike the other two. The lingering smell is light and pleasant.Tokachi (violet)Ginzan (pink) - light floral scent. Really nice. Made my skin super soft after too :)

Smells wonderful.

I was given these bath salts as a gift and enjoyed them, especially how they bubble and turn the water colors. They have pleasant and unusual scents. I liked them enough to purchase and give as a gift. However, I was disappointed in how they were packaged. An envelope mailer was used, so the box tore. I had to repackage them to use as a gift.

I rarely leave reviews on here but I just had the best home bath of my life. I used the purple packet and I don’t even know what it’s made of because the packaging is in Japanese but holy smokes it smells amazing. I feel so relaxed. 5 stars!

Arrived a week late for a total of six weeks delivery, but it is shipped out of japan.Arrived in perfect condition and they all smell great ! They make your water scented and milky perf after a hard day of whatever it is you do

沢山の種類に浸かれるので購入しました暖まれるのは普通よりは暖かいですが体に効く感じはあまりなかったです。

普通。安いので、それなりです。過度な期待はしない方がいいです。

炭酸系入浴剤バ〇みたいなものじゃ無いけど、にごり湯があるので、にごり湯の雰囲気を味わいたい方には良い感じです。
