Whirlwind adventure into another world
This book fully deserves its 5 star rating with both characters and a world to rival Harry Potter. I am a huge fan of Ms.Latimer's books and highly recommend them to everyone.The story follows Emma and her young friends who have been proven to be witches, as they escape the witch hunters and search out the lost Witch City. The adventure along the way is exciting and challenging and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Fast paced, imaginative, and fun!
Emmaline Black is raised, the niece of the queen, in a land where magic is illegal. When children turn ten, they undergo a test to see if they have witch blood. If so, they are ... culled ... from the population. It doesn't matter that Emmaline is royal. That will not spare her.This is a story about friendship, found family, and self-acceptance. The world is refreshing and fun and the writing is lovely.Highly recommend!

Another Awesome Book
I have been reading Erin's books for years before you needed to pay for them. She was great back in those days with her story line and character development. Now, her stories have a professional flow to go with the story to hold your attention making a book you do not want to put down.
