Everything as expected. I received everything on time, and the boxing/packaging is quality. Very modern. And then you see your pottery and you're taken back in time to something culturally old, even though the product is new. This adds to the aesthetic of making Japanese tea the traditional way.I made tea in it almost immediately. It was fun and there was something about it all that seemed to maintain a bit of something magical. No magic to it, it does exactly what you expect. It brewed my tea, but in a traditionally inspired way.So, if your goal is to make japanese tea, the traditional way, in a kyusu that keeps with what feels like tradition, and is aesthetically neat to look at, then this is for you

I was not expecting a teapot with a spout, but it is otherwise as advertised. I like it’s rough texture and hand made small imperfections. I especially like the cup size and the ashy glaze. It is well wort it’s cost.

This is probably for someone who is into ultra traditional pottery. But for everyday use, the lack of metal net (inside or as an insert) is minus. Plus, the finish is rough and somewhat "metallic" not a warm feeling. The cups are very good though.

The media could not be loaded.  It was beautify color but arrrived broken.Now I have to find Christmas gift again to my friend. Very dissapeared!They should be more better packed.

This is a very nice kit, like the rough and organic material. I use them everyday. But the teapot drips when pouring water and makes the table messy so I have to put a kitchen towel under it to keep everything clean, guess this is the only thing I dislike. But it won't stop me liking them though.

This one has a vintage feeling to it.I used this tea pot almost everyday. My only dislike is, it takes time to clean the small leaves particle that lodges in the small holes of the spouts.

Excellent product that arrived in perfect shape in a box that is just right for presenting as a gift.
