Not good for wrought iron
Almost impossible to hang on wrought iron railing without slipping when flag is on it. Had to get new screws because they stuck out too much, plus they’re silver so they show. Plastic handles that hold the flag don’t seem to be that strong, but it’s the only thing I could find anything to hang a flag on wrought iron so not many options but to make it work. If I find something better I’ll get it.

Quality heavy duty materials.
It did exactly what I wanted --to fly the flag from the balcony of my new apartment on the 4th of July. It looks so good, worked so well, I set my light to shine at night so I could leave the flag flying all the time. I am an equipment functioning person; i.e. it is more important it functions well and does not just look good. This item does both. I have a lot of tools but didn't need any --simple to install and stays in place.

Great solution!
Finally found something to attach to my wrought iron porch and this is very sturdy! Had a lot of high winds and it didn’t move, definitely recommend.

Missing part. No instructions.
A part was not included. I only recieved 1 of the mounting brackets as shown in the clear plastic bag. I will attempt to install this corner to corner and will contact the seller for the 2nd piece. If this fails, I will have to return it. This was purchased for a retired veteran in his assisted living facility in order to hang his flag from his balcony. We're disappointed that it hasn't been a prefect solution.

Perfection
Arrived on time, solidly built and very sturdy with two clamps to hold pole. Very easy to install without holes.

It works but depends on the fence
It is an item that is hard to find and I am sure it works on most fences but it didn't work well for me. Depending on the thickness and spacing of the rods/bars of your railing it may or may not fit. I would suggest including a second back plate that is straight instead of curved for mounting versatility. Perhaps even extra predrilled holes.

Exactly what I needed!
The flagpole mount arrived quickly in perfect condition, was easy for this "older" woman to install, and is very sturdy. I feel confident that this product will last a long time. I'm truly happy and strongly recommend this mount for any balcony/deck flagpole display.
