Absolutely beautiful and I love these shelves but there is a few things to note that in my oppinion don't take away from how great they are but should be known when considering buying these and also to know so you don't make the same mistakes we did installing them!!So we had a couple of mishaps but even still giving this a 5 star. If you are amateurs at anything home improvement the instructions could confuse you... or perhaps we just aren't the smartest I'm not sure! The instructions were extremely simple and I think 5 steps and seemed easy enough. But it states with the anchors you can hammer them or screw them in...we assumed all the way and hammered them along with nickel sized holes into our walls and needless to say first go at instalation did not work.My step-dad explained we should only hammer them in to get them into the wall and screw them the rest of the way. He came with his own anchors as we had damaged ours and just moved the placement of the new anchors and screws over inbetween the holes we already had made and attached them in the same place essentially so that it covered the holes we made. You can see a hole just under the bottom shelf that was made during our first attempt. It was frustrating. I wish they would have specified that but maybe we should have known I'm not sure! Lastly the pictures posted on the advertisement page made it look like a tiny level was included and it is not. Not a big deal but we didn't have one of our own so our top shelf is slightly crooked. I didn't care that much I may straighten it in the future but for now felt enough holes were made in the wall already.I really do love these! They are quality wood and had it not been for this mistake of ours I think it would have gone very smoothly to put up. They look amazing and seem pretty sturdy. I don't know if they would hold 40ibs like it states I probably wouldn't because there is a little give in them but they are still great!I did want to mention just in case this matters to anyone researching if these are the shelves for you, included are some pictures of the woods finish...it's pretty rustic and rough. It's gonna be hard dusting them. I probably would have liked them a bit smoother but overall I'm still very happy with the product and would order again. Also the color between shelves does vary a tad but I think it's just the texture of the wood pieces we got. Just wanted to mention if that matters to anyone considering buying these!

Third Update: I received the new set of shelves and they are perfect! I got a new phone and can’t figure out how to do the photos properly with this app but they are on the wall and gorgeous! Super easy to hang and seem very sturdy. I don’t have a lot of items or heavy items on mine as that isn’t what I wanted them for so I can’t attest to how much weight they hold but I wouldn’t be nervous to test it. Very happy with this purchase, the product, and the customer service I received. I would recommend ordering.Second Update: Seller was very quick and courteous in his emails and sent out a brand new set. Once they arrive I will update again. I updated the stars to 5 solely on the amazing customer service and the quality of the shelves seem fantastic. I can’t wait to be able to use them when they arrive!Update: I was contacted by the seller and they apologized and offered to send a replacement. I’m very thankful for the quick response and willingness to make it right. That speaks highly of the company and how they value their customers. I look forward to receiving the new set and will update again when they arrive.I really want to love these shelves. They’re solid wood and I love the natural knots and look of the shelves but unfortunately the mounting bracket on one of my shelves is completely useless. It’s warped in a very weird way which would make it impossible to level and sit flush on a wall and doesn’t even fit in the shelf itself. The other seems to be off slightly but not enough that i it’s unusable. I ordered these for the two shelves, not one. Waiting on a reply email from the company, I emailed them my photos.Other than that the shelves themselves seem quite solid and beautiful. They still smell strongly of stain but that doesn’t bother me, it may bother other buyers though so I’m adding it to my review. One shelf also is noticeably dusty like it sat on a shelf for quite a while before being boxed. I’m hoping the dust isn’t stuck to the stain itself. I’m not attempting to clean it off in case I need to return this order I want to return it exactly as it came to me.Unfortunately I can not hang these until I have two working shelves. I do hope we can resolve this issue or I will need to return them and search elsewhere.I will update my review if I am able to resolve this issue with the seller.

Shelves are solid, straight, and good condition. They look nice on the wall.However, I recommend you at a minimum buy your own hardware to mount with. At a minimum buy better dry wall anchors. If you decide to use the hardware they send I have a few recommendations.1. Have a few drinks beforehand. You'll need it.2. Have something close by the break to let off some frustration.3. Send the kids away, they don't need to hear the words you'll be using soon. And I mean far away. Soon you'll be using words loud enough you'll have the neighbor three houses down blushing.4. And finally, let your religious leader, therapist, parole officer, wife, or whoever it is you check in with know that you'll need to have a long talk real soon.Other than that the product is great. Enjoy.

The shelves are great. Very solid/substantial with easy instructions via the included template. I contacted John about a missing bracket…. he called, immediately addressed the issue and had the replacement part in the mail with tracking the same day. Would not hesitate to purchase again

I really can’t express how amazing these shelves are. They are solid wood and beautiful. My husband didn’t have any issue mounting them.Small hiccup with one shelf but seller was so attentive and helpful. The small “problem” was addressed in record speed. Definitely recommend these shelves and I would buy more shelves from this company in the future.

Its too heavy and its just a wodden plank dont expect finishing in it doesnt go with decor
