Well-made, but I think there might be a quality control issue with the set I received. To be fair, even though I bought these new from Amazon, what I received was clearly someone else's returned item. Part of the packaging was missing, and taped up, so I'm guessing someone else returned them for the same reason I'm not totally thrilled. My issue is with the bolts that hold the peg to the bracket, and allow the peg to flip up when not in use. On one side, no matter how tight I make the bolt, the peg is too loose, and when I fold it up, it will eventually fall back down on its own. On the other side, I need to leave that same bolt extremely loose (like, just beyond finger-tight), or the peg will be too tight to pivot, and then that bolt starts to do what all loose bolts do on a Harley. Based on this allegedly new set I purchased, I can only give it three stars. If I send these back, I'd replace them with the same, and hopefully get a better set. I'll update this review if I do.

I opened the box today and found in these old used pegs. They must have been used for more than a year on a bike that crashed at some point, see rust and deep scratches. Cannot understand how these parts ended up being shipped to me. What a waste of time.

after chasing the "cheap" versions of this product you might as well just accept the fact that you get what you pay for. this does exactly what you need it to do.

Made from very heavy duty steal excellent chrome finish, the mounting brackets and bolts are strong and tighten snugly, not allowing for any slipping out of position. They fit my Harley 1.25" engine guard perfectly now giving the leg room and comfort I was needing. Note the first set of pegs I purchased were look-a-like knockoffs and right after mounting them and the first time I applied foot pressure the bracket broke in half lesson @!$#$# learned. Kuryakyn is an excellent product and I recommend them to everyone
