My 5yr old son loved it
Definitely recommend. My son's teacher read it to his class today, and he came home talking about it. So I came on here, and we reread it again and laughed and laughed. So cute!

Unexpectedly fun
Read this as mystery reader for my daughter's second grade class and it was a hit! Both my 5 (in preK) and 8 year old (2nd grade) really love this book, but I think it might be too much for *some* preschoolers, since the gist of the book is the dinosaur eating her classmates...she does spit them back out, but for little ones who maybe can't understand context, I could see it being upsetting for really empathetic kids, particularly if they're already scared or nervous about starting kindergarten. That said, it is clever and a funny book! I think early elementary is the best age for this book (K-3). We originally borrowed this book from the library but we all enjoyed it so much (and wanted to keep re-reading it so often) that I bought it so we could have our own copy.

A great kids' book!
Cute illustrations, fun story, wholesome message. A kindergarten t-rex who can't help but eat her human classmates (always spits them back out, of course) and has a change of heart once a goldfish nibbles her finger. My two-year-old absolutely loves this book and I enjoy reading it to him. I'm looking into getting the other books from this series.
