I was offered a discount to purchase, use, and review this needle assortment. At first I only expected to receive a pack of five needles but was delighted to discover that I was really receiving five packs of seven needles. I had even requested return authorization for the extras before I learned to read a bit more thorough. I will add some of the extras to my bug out bags. I have been a do it yourself mender since my early teens when I dabbled in taxidermy. At that time I only had one needle (I still have it). As a 70 something I need a somewhat larger eye in my needles and this package of needles provides that. They're easy to thread. Because of the low cost I was a bit skeptical about the quality at first but after handling and using some I find the quality to be first rate. I have not had a chance to use the curved mattress ones yet but I know they can be used for other purposes and I will use them sooner or later for some upholstery work I need to do. This assortment contains just about any needle you could need and each one seems to have multiple uses. They are sturdy and up to whatever the mending task you might have in mind. As I mentioned earlier the quality is there. I'm not "giving" A Trust five stars - they earned it in their own right.

But the listing does indeed state a 5-pack. Very nice to know will have extra on hand in a time of need! I don't know about you, but I cannot find sewing needles like these very easily.Great sizes for the not so average job. Now I can mend the rip in the chair!Sorry my pictures do not show me using these on my chair... I need to locate the string I want and the patch I want to use to cover the damage my puppies did.I am impressed with the quality of the needles...they are durable and solid [not flimsy...they do not bend] and I know they will stand up to heavy use.If my opinion changes I will update my review.

Did not use the straight needles, as I only needed to use a curved needle. After 3 stitches in a thick felt pad, the eye hole broke off of the small curved needle. Exasperated, I tried the larger curved needle. It lasted about 5 stitches. This is a relatively soft felt rug pad about 1/4" thick. Very disappointed.
