This kit was a lot bigger and heavier than I anticipated. I plan on putting it in my car. It's too heavy to carry around all the time. Maybe if I was going hiking or camping, but even for a day hike, it's big and heavy. That being said, it has a lot of great items in it but there are some items I would add to it. First thing, don't open the box and just put it in your car. Remove the tactical pen and flashlight and put them in your every day carry kit. These items don't do you any good in the bag. If you already have a flashlight, then definitely leave it in the bag. The survival bracelet has some useful items, but again, it's no good in the bag. Frankly, it's probably just not good overall. Water bottle clip? Maybe. But it will be the first thing that goes if I need to make room. Awesome items (I can't comment on the quality as I haven't opened them) are the rain poncho, emergency tent, and emergency blanket. The First Aid kit is very basic. I'd add more band aids, some moleskin, antibiotic ointment, and over the counter pain medications. The tools are OK. If I need them in an emergency in my car, great. But if I were hiking and have to carry this bag, I think there's better tools out there that are lighter. Honestly, if I'm worried about starting a fire, whether I have a spork to eat with is not going to be high on my list of priorities. If the fast food place forgot my plastic ware, this tool is going to be miserable to use. Other things I'd add are a quart sized ziplock bag, some compressed towels, and a water purification device (like a Sawyer or Lifestraw).

This kit is perfect for travel, hiking, in the car, on a boat... Just about anywhere you think you might need it.It has everything, well just about which you can see in the pictures. Although I would have put in a collapsible water jug or bottle at the very least.Otherwise it honestly has pretty much anything you would need in an emergency. Water bottle clip, knife, tent, rain jacket plus much more!You never know when you may need a kit like this so everyone should have one in their car at least. It's going in our car for sure.Very happy with this kit, it's priced well and would gladly recommend.

This is a complete and comprehensive survival kit that comes in a sturdy and durable pouch. It is made to hang on belt, clip to a backpack or carry, but I think it is better suited to carry in a vehicle. I have been stuck in the boonies before and this has everything in it but food. It has a basic first aid kit and emergency tools. This is a nice and compact assortment of survival tools and a great addition to my tackle box. Very pleased.

This is a heavy-duty survival kit and covers almost every contingency. It really belongs in a vehicle because it is a bit heavy and bulky due to all it contains.One could easily survive a good long while if this is all they had to utilize in the wilderness....Highly recommend...
